Bay Mau Coconut Forest

A trip to the water coconut groves and back during the day is pretty special too. Cam Thanh village is about 4ha, during the Vietnam war tthis was the shelter for local people and soldiers and nowadays this place is famous for providing the most seafood procduts for this area. Joining basket boat tour you will have achance to learn some traditional fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil Coconut palm flanked waterways of a past war.     It was great. The spinning boat was scary but fun. It was a very valuable experience and well worth it. They kept a good distance from me and took lots of photos for me.

    Lee was amazing!!! She was so good at explaining the cooking and the food was delicious!! The boat ride before cooking was also amazing! Would recommend going the early time slot (8am) for less busyness.

    Fun lots of yummy food, went on basket boats up and down the river, we learnt to make 4 different types of Vietnamese food and walked around market trying foods

    Lee was an excellent host and the food was fresh and it was really good fun to cook. The basket boat captain was fun. Karaoke on a basket boat was a new experience

    We had the sweetest sailor that gave us a good trip. He took a lot of pictures of us and we were fishing for crabs. You could choose for yourself if you would like a twist.

    The kids had such a fun time and my son even managed to catch a crab. The boat ride was great and we were lucky the weather was good too. The rowers were so nice to offer to take pics, suggested poses and even threw in a free spin for us at the end of the trip.
