The mighty Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK at 1,345 meters / 4,413 feet. At the summit, you earn phenomenal views of the Lochaber landscape.

Your friendly local guide, Trev, will take care of navigation, safety and logistics so you can enjoy a fantastic day in the mountains.

After the hike, we'll head to one of the pubs in the glen for a celebratory pint or dram.

A private hike allows you to tailor the day to your liking. We could even summit later in the day to see the sunset. However, weather may affect some options.

Your guide will keep you updated with the mountain forecast and can help with any clothing & equipment questions if needed.

What To Expect

After introductions, we'll walk over the bridge and start the climb of "The Ben". The first section is a steep ascent to halfway lochan. It flattens out and we'll take a well earned break. Our next challenge is the zig-zags up to the plateau, where the worst of the ascent is done. A short walk brings us to the summit of Ben Nevis, the highest point in the UK at 1,345m. You've now earned the phenomenal views of the Lochaber landscape, and your Ben Nevis summit patch. Depending on the weather, we may eat on the summit or head back down to a more sheltered spot. We'll then walk back down the mountain path to one of the pubs in the Glen to celebrate the summit (optional)!

I decided to climb Ben Nevis for charity but didn’t want to do it alone and I am so glad I booked Trev as my guide. The whole experience was fantastic and he kept me going with good banter & conversation. He is really knowledgeable about Scotland & Ben Nevis itself, which I found very interesting. There wasn’t a silent moment between us throughout the whole day and at the end of it I felt like I had made a friend. I cannot recommend Trev enough for anyone that wishes to be well guided on the wonder that is Ben Nevis! First Class Experience! Thanks Trev :)
