Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo
Spend the day learning about Bermuda’s native wildlife, nature and caves as you venture into the depths of the caves. Start this adventure off at the Bermuda Aquariam and walk through this man made forest and learn about our fascinating wildlife and how they have come to make Bermuda the home we see today. As you walk through the aquarium, you will see peacocks, monkeys and birds at arms reach! Along your walk, you will also get to learn about Bermuda’s culture and history with real objects they used in the past. After this adventure Venture into and discover the mysterious crystal caves of Bermuda. Located in Hamilton Parish Bermuda lies hidden crystal gems that are only visible after a decent of to the humans after a walking decent of 203.41 feet below the island of Bermuda. On this tour you will learn the history of the caves, how they were discovered and how they have formed over the years. Walk along a bridge constructed in the 90s to get from one side of the cave to the next!

5.00My girlfriend and I were visiting friends in Bermuda and chose the Crystal Caves and Aquarium as an excursion to explore the island and it did not disappoint. The trip started with a pick up in Hamilton by the kind and informative Aldwyn. As we drove from Hamilton east to the caves, Aldwyn shared interesting historical and cultural tidbits about the island while we got to pass through the beauty of the South Shore. Upon arrival at the caves we were led by tour guide Darius who gave us in-depth insight into the history of the cave, complete with geological information and he also had an exceptional sense of humor. The cave was captivating. After that tour, Aldwyn was waiting for us and jettisoned us to the aquarium where we got to see all types of fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and even the 3 seals they have on site. After the aquarium, we got to explore the immersive zoo which allows guests to go inside the habitat and get up close to lemurs, giant tortoises, and more. The trip concluded with a ride back into Hamilton and memories to last a lifetime. 10/10 would recommend.

4.00We were initially surprised to be picked up for our tour by a taxi driver, who was contracted by the tour company to take us on the tour! But we soon found him to be a good guide, and he took us to all of the places that we had expected to visit. He was friendly and helpful during the tour. We had a good experience.

5.00We saw this excursion offered by our cruise operator but their pricing was out of control. We turned to Google an found this tour, almost identical to the cruise one at a much better price and it was basically private to our group of 8. Our driver was not just a driver, but offered us some guided tour on our way to and from the locations. The Aquarium was nice, not big, and was somewhat interaction for the kids. The caves were the main event though! Simply beautiful natural creations and the kids and adults really enjoyed the thorough tour offered by the guides. If you are looking for a non-beach activity, then this is a great one.

5.00Never been to Bermuda, read about these caves online and decided to see them. They were absolutely awesome!!! About an hours drive from the Know ngs Wharf cruise terminal but our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw a lot of the island on the way

5.00Calvin was the perfect guide. He adapted the visit to our preferences. Was very forthcoming with interesting information about Bermuda, went out his way to show us places he knew we would appreciate. The crystal cave was a real gem and the aquarium was more interesting than expected. Thank you Calvin, we will be back!

4.00The Crystal Caves were very interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The aquarium was very small, as was the zoo. We did not see hardly any animals in the zoo area. This was the day when Hurricane Melissa was heading toward Bermuda. Perhaps the animals were wary of what was coming toward Bermuda. I did not think the tour was worth the cost of the tickets.
