It will be our pleasure to welcome you to Rhodes!
Join us on this half-day private tour and visit the main highlights of Rhodes town and the beautiful white village of Lindos. Tour along Rhodes’ beautiful East coast and discover its rich history and beauty.
You will have the opportunity to visit the Mandraki harbor and the area where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood. Then you will walk through the ancient Acropolis of Rhodes. After that, we will continue on the East coast of the island and reach the traditional white village of Lindos, 50km away. You will have more than 1 hour stay to explore it and visit the beautiful Acropolis on the top, which is the second most popular Acropolis in Greece after the Parthenon in Athens. Then we will return back to our starting point.
Kindly note that our drivers are not official licensed guides. If you wish we can book one for your group with an additional cost.

What To Expect
Medieval City
We will start our tour with a drive around the walls of the Old Town of Rhodes - the biggest inhabited medieval town in Europe. It was built in 1300s from the knights of the order of St. John. The Medieval Town of Rhodes is inscribed in the World Heritage Sites List of UNESCO. If you want we can extend the duration of the tour with 1 hour and you can have also some free time to go through the Old town and explore it on your own.
Mandraki Harbour
Mandraki port is situated in the new part of the town where you will see some very impressive monumental buildings built by the Italians. Here at the harbour entrance is believed that once stood the great statue of the Colossus of Rhodes - one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. We will stop for pictures of the area.

3.00Tour around Rhodes port after departing the cruise was fine. The 3+ hours driving and stopping at a leather mfg and carpet mfg was not worth it if you are not interested purchasing such goods. We got to spend only ONE hour+ in Lindos. It was insufficient. Our tour guide was Knowledgeable and personalble. 5 Stars.

5.00We found Rhodes to be the very best of all the Greek Islands we have visited, including Spetses, Patmos, Santorini, Mykonos, and Corfu. The history was terrific, and our tour guide's knowledge of the island and the area was impressive. One of our group required his use of a cane. Our guide was very solicitous of him and his needs. It made a huge difference to all of us, especially his getting an electric cart driven by a friend to get us around Rhodes City. His friend was equally helpful and kind. A truly memorable excursion.
