It was great - earning about wine, tasting different wines, preparing courses for lunch, dining and sipping in lovely surroundings with newly made friends. Jason was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Only negative was the meeting/pickup place was very unclear

Overall, we thought it was a nice outing. The ride to the venue was good ( we were picked up at our hotel at 10am and picked up q other party’s along the way. We river at the venue about 11. , the wine tasting was nice, thought it moved a little too slowly for my taste. The host, shared a lot about the history of the winery prior to serving any wine. There were some guests in our group (about 20), that were asking a LOT of questions which kind of dragged it out. We tasted 6 wines. After the wine tasting, we walked around by the vineyards,,,, more explanation and questions. When that was over , we spent about 40 minutes as a group putting together 4 pre-prepped dishes. After that, we’re served a prepared meal. Lots of food and it was very good. It was 2pm by that time so we were pretty hungry. Didn’t eat much for breakfast since we were to have a 10 course meal. I think it would have been nice if that had a few munchies out during the wine tasting. A bit of cheee, bread, something in the stomach and to clear the pallet. Because of all the questions, it took about an hour longer than it was supposed to

The description does not match the event! I thought we had signed up for a 10 course Greek cooking class. It was a wine tasting and wine educational event that was followed by a light preparation of tzatziki, eggplant salad and domaldres. We thought the entire event was 4 hours but that was time at place. We were on a cruise and it did not allow us to enjoy the town afterwards. The day was enjoyable and I still gave it 5 stars as host and food were both good.

I was worried about the mixed reviews and comments but I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Transportation was timely, easy to find and comfortable. We received communication prior to pick up with exact details and that was helpful. The infamous “Jason”, met us at the entrance, introduced himself and personally shook everyone’s hand (with respectful eye contact). I was impressed with his business acumen. We sat at a long table where Jason shared information about the vineyard, the business and the process of wine making. We took a tour of the vineyard and were allowed time to take pictures. When we returned to the table, we did wine tasting of 5 types of wine. After that, we did a cooking class. While everyone didn’t prepare a dish at the same time, we were given ample opportunities to volunteer. The dish preparation was fun. After the cooking class, we ate. On this particular day, there happened to be a group function at the same time so we had a plethora of food options in addition to 4 tapas selections. Normally it’s just the 4 tapas selections. Jason was very knowledgeable, professional and witty. The staff were kind and accommodating. We booked this as a private excursion vs one provided by our cruise line. Transportation was timely with pick up and return. No risk of pier running! LOL Overall, I would recommend this excursion to others. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

We met our driver outside the gate and he was driving a Mercedes Benz black van. It was very comfortable. There were 8 guests total. We drove about 35 minutes to the other side of the island to the family vineyard. We were met by two chihuahuas that were new to the area. We started with some history of the family from their son and went into one of the vineyards then tasted 5 of their wines. Our group was lively and got along very well. Then were took turns making 3 of the dishes we were going to try at lunch! It was so much fun! Loads of laughter and we actually learned how to make them. Then we sat down for lunch and they brought out dish after dish of the tastiest food! The wine was also flowing and it was the best way to spend the day! We highly recommend this to everyone!

A nice outing, beautiful and entertaining explanation from Jason and a nice workshop for Greek dishes. The lunch was delicious with choice of the wines we had tasted earlier. Good taxi service!

We had a terrific time at the winery. The owner, Jason, was an affable host. He was droll and charming and gave a great overview on the vineyards and how it was run. We tasted five wines, two of which were excellent. The cooking demonstration was a bit of a downer. Putting 100 people around one table made it impossible for many to see what was happening. Also, it went on far too long. The meal itself was fantastic. Meme style but plentiful, delicious, and filling. Lots of wine served with it. We wanted to buy several bottles but they do not ship to the US. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic morning we spent at the Anastasia family vineyard! We were picked up from our hotel in Rhodes Town at 10.20 am and after around a 30-minute drive were dropped off at our destination. Jason welcomed everyone with a huge smile before beginning what was an extremely interesting and informative glimpse into the world of winemaking. After a short walk in the vineyard we began the wine tasting, we tried 5 different wines made from a variety of local and more widely known grapes before commencing our cooking lesson which was also great fun. The authentic Greek lunch was delicious paired with whichever of the wines from the tasting you preferred. Finally, a short explanation of the distilling process, a complimentary shot and the opportunity to purchase some of the wine rounded the day off at around 3 pm. All on all a really great experience, well worth the cost, I would highly recommend booking if you get the chance!
