What To Expect

Day Tour (Red Loop)

Duration:2 hours

Operating Schedule:Departures every 30 minutes from Stop 1 (Bayside Marketplace) starting at 9AM until 4PM. Alternatively, guests can board the bus at any of the stops along the route. Customers are advised to visit the Big Bus website or to download the Big Bus app to see the most up to date bus stop locations and timings. For live bus tracking on the day of travel - please download the Big Bus App in advance of arrival.

Stop 1 - Bayside Marketplace (metro bus stop in front of Ben's Pizza)

Stop 2 - South Beach (Metro bus stop in front of CVS Pharmacy)

Stop 3 - Soundscape Park (metro bus stop opposite the Greenview Hotel)

Stop 5 - Mid Beach/RIU Hotel (metro bus stop in front of the RIU Hotel, between 31st & 32nd St)

Stop 6 - North Beach/Fontainebleu & Lexington Hotels (metro bus stop in front of the Lexington Hotel)

Stop 7 - Design District/Midtown (metro bus stop located right beneath the overpass/bridge)

Stop 8 - Wynwood Walls

Stop 9 - Downtown/Holiday Inn (metro bus stop near corner with NE 3rd St, near Holiday Inn)

Stop 10 - Little Havana (Metro Bus stop near corner of SW 13th Ct)

Cruise Great, but Hop Off the Bus!

The bus was awful. It was so crowded, hot and uncomfortable. We didn't see any signage that there were headphones, so for the first part of the ride we were bewildered when there was no commentary. We finally noticed people with headphones and saw someone else getting them. But of course if you have to stand having a pair of headphones makes no difference, you miss it all. At the first stop we tried to get up to the top, but only two of four of got a seat. When we got back downstairs, there were no seats left and we had to stand. At the second stop we got off and never got back on, so that part was a waste of money. We ubered to the next stop, and were very disappointed we didn't get to see much. If the fans had been going while stopped we may have been able to ride the entire route, but it was a miserable time. Been on these types of busses before but never had this awful experience. As for the cruise, that was great and gets 5 out of 5 stars. The staff were great and informative, and we enjoyed seeing all the islands and beautiful homes.

Absolutely terrible service .. we already nearly full & the driver stops at lights & lets 25+ people as they offered him a big tip.. the was totally over crowded. People standing & stood if everywhere plus up the front chatting to the driver. It wasn't even a Big Bus tour official stop. It was a very dangerous situation. I would not recommend this service ..
No on & ifc for us again…. We would rather drive

Directions were not clear, after parking at address had t walk 3 block to bus site. The trip was not entertaining & the trip boring. Found 2 stops interesting & very nice.

Easily accessible app and hop on hop off which gives 24 hour transport. You can purchase any time and activate literally five minutes before you wish to jump on the bus to provide more time.

A lady from England called Suzanne asked us if we would like to do the Red Hope On Hop Off bus around San Francisco which we did with friends.. The Bus Driver/Commentator on the trip was so good really made the it more fun and interesting and was very informative. A must to see a lot more without doing it on foot.

I had an amazing time on the airboat tour in the swamp! It was such a fun and exciting experience. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and our bus driver, Jose Gonzalez, was incredibly kind and drove safely. Everything was well organized, and I truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend!

Rip off...very expensive...sitting on it now. Apparently the buses run every 30 minutes. They have changed the rules as the buses weren't full. So sitting here on the bus which they tried to throw us off in extremely hot condition. Been waiting for 45 mins without moving with my disabled mother. My husband when to speak to the staff, who sighed at home and were very rude. They said every big bust tour in the world does the same...we have been on a lot and never had to wait for 45 mins. By the time we left there was a lot of people who didn't get on as the bus was full...it doesn't make sense The commentary doesn't work. Overall, rude staff who change the rules depending on uptake. Don't bother and just catch the trollies.
