• Great Tour, Disappointing Customer Experience

  Ronnie was our tour guide, and he did a fantastic job from start to finish. From picking us up, guiding us through the entire experience, and safely getting us back, everything on the tour itself was handled very well. We even saw four alligators during the trip, which was truly fascinating and a refreshing experience away from the city. Overall, the tour itself was enjoyable and convenient. However, our experience earlier in the day was quite frustrating. We had initially scheduled a tour at 10:00 am, as shown in the attached screenshot, with the pickup location listed as 333 Biscayne Blvd, Miami. Since we are not native Florida residents and were visiting from NYC and Boston, we accidentally reached the wrong nearby location. As seen in the screenshot, we arrived at 9:50 am and ran around asking people near "Ben’s Pizza" for directions. I also tried contacting the tour operator, but there was no response. There was no prior confirmation, phone number, or communication, which most tours usually provide before the scheduled time. When we finally reached the correct Big Bus pickup point at 10:01 am, we explained the situation to a middle-aged Latina staff/manager, who was extremely rude. Her exact words were “YOU LATE, BUS LEAVE SHARP.” She did not offer any reassurance, rescheduling option, or assistance and instead blamed us, saying Tripadvisor was a third party and that we should collect a refund from them. The interaction was very dismissive and unpleasant and completely turned off our mood that morning, especially since we had traveled all the way from NYC to enjoy a new experience. Later, we came across another Big Bus information center where a younger Latina staff member with blonde hair handled the situation very differently. She calmly listened, understood our issue, and offered us alternatives to take the 2:00 pm or the next day’s tour. Although the 2:30 pm tour was technically sold out, she kindly mentioned that if someone did not show up, we could be accommodated. To avoid any further risk, we arrived at 2:00 pm sharp. The 2:30 pm bus actually waited until 2:38 pm before leaving in case other passengers were missing, and thankfully we were able to get two seats that we had already paid for. Given how strict they were in the morning, this inconsistency felt quite unfair and added to our frustration. Apart from this initial experience, the tour itself was nice, well organized, and convenient. Ronnie’s guidance and the actual tour experience were highlights, but the lack of communication and the rude handling earlier in the day significantly impacted what could have otherwise been a great experience.

  Great trip. Saw three alligators in the wild on the cool airboat. Nice alligator show to learn a bit more of the alligators. Our big bus tour guide Ronet was enthusiastic and made the trip fun. All in all. A food half day out.

  

• A Long Day Trip

  Check to see if there are other events going on in the city. There were three on the only day we could go. Our bus was1 1/2 hours late picking us up. We didn't get very much extra time at the Everglades. The boat ride was fun and so was the show. Our drive back was almost 2 hours as we had to drop off people at the south beach location first who missed their bus. It was a long day.

  Ronet, the driver was top., lots of information given about the excursions and miami. The hudroglisseur ride lasted a good hour. We've seen a lot of alligators. The spectacle for him is not terrible. But I really recommend the excursion. Thank you.

  All organized well. Really nice driving. Unfortunately my English is not the best but Ronet Blanc our guide was good. The Everglades are beautiful, we saw 5 alligators, despite the cold day. Council

  

  

  

• Good experience, but longer journey than expected.

  The big bus arrived on time, but due to current traffic congestion the journey took approximately 3 hours in total instead of the 45-60 minutes each way listed. The experience, staff and facilities were all good and worth the cost.
