I did not feel safe the boat was to small for the group. I did not see any emergency equipment. I was not instructed on what to do for an emergency. What happens if a member gets lost while swimming in the dark? The captain was either really concerned about balancing the weight on the boat or he was determined to separate the only gay couple on the boat.

We really enjoyed our evening bay cruise to the Los Arcos National Park. The bioluminescent sparkles of the plankton and algae in the water surrounding the islands was beautiful! Victor was a very knowledgeable guide who explained in fascinating detail the ecosystem that exists along this coastline. We did not swim because of a plethora of jelly fish in the area on the night that we toured, but we were still able to see the beautiful bioluminescence and we very much enjoyed our tour.

I got seasick for the first time in years (at least 20) and have been on many, many boats. Have even driven one. But we were out there for like 3 hours on choppy water constantly rocking a small boat. I didn’t have Dramamine cause I don’t get motion sick that easily. Swimming in the ocean at night was also very cold for me. The bioluminescence is interesting but not exactly like the photos everyone uses to advertise these tours. We saw it for sure though. Overall, If you’re even the slightest bit sensitive to motion sickness or cold, I’d recommend taking seasickness meds ahead of time and dressing warmly for the swim. While it wasn’t the best fit for me, others really enjoyed the tour, and the staff was solid.

Alejandro and Fernando were amazing! My son was scared and Alejandro was quick to reassure him and make him comfortable. He was so knowledgeable and very welcoming!
