Our great adventure starts visiting one of Ireland’s greatest treasures Blarney Castle, the home of Blarney Stone also known as Stone of Eloquence. Do you know if you kiss the stone, it will give you the gift of eloquence?
Blarney Castle is more than a castle, it is a complex building divided in different parts: chapel, banqueting hall & family room, young ladies’ bedroom, the dungeon, the great hall, the kitchen…
After this visit to the castle, we will drive to Cork where we are going to enjoy a panoramic tour (we don’t stop to visit sites). You will learn the history of English Market, one of the world’s oldest municipal markets, St. Anne’s Church which is known for the famous Shandon Bells tower.
We can´t leave Cork without visiting the famous Jameson Distillery, during the tour you will be shown how whisky is made and you will be able to taste it.

4.00Was disappointed with Blarney Castle as the wait was too long for the time allocated. No time to visit the woolen mill if you walked around the castle grounds. Also, thought our guide should have walked us around the castle grounds more. Enjoyed the Jameson visit but again not enough time- felt rushed. Had a nice lunch in Cork though.

5.00Our group of 26, could not enough good things about the guides and bus driver we had. Guide new the history very well. Plus, she made sure that all our needs were taken care of. We had people with small, or active bladders in our group. No problem! Guide provided "timely" access to the rest rooms.

5.00Connor was amazing, he went above and beyond for us. While in the bus he told us great information about Ireland. Also while on Blarney Castle and Middleton he gave us great information. Highly recommended. Communication was excellent even though our ship landed at a different dock, they picked all of us up there to make it more convenient. Couldn’t be happier.
