Enjoy the beauty and excitement of Browns Canyon National Monument on a full day whitewater rafting tour down the Arkansas River. Your guide will go over safety procedures, paddling techniques and tell you about the area’s unique history, flora and fauna. They will also prepare a deli-style riverside lunch. This tour departs directly from the River Runners Browns Canyon outpost, a riverside property just south of Buena Vista, Colorado. Transportation is provided from the take-out back to River Runners. All gear is included in the price of the trip.

There are inherent risks with whitewater rafting. All participants must assume that risk. Everyone will need to read and sign a waiver/release form. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s signature on the form.

5.00Organized operation and guides were all knowledgeable and safe. Would definitely recommend. we did the royal gorge in August. While the water levels were lower, it was fun

5.00Split was the BEST!!!!! The water was low, but split made it fun by teaching us to spin our rack through the rapids. I can't imagine a better raft guide or trip in colorado, especially for locals.

5.00Great experience on the river with our awesome guide Megan! The perfect amount of time was spent on the river enjoying the views and no problems navigating the rapids as long as we followed Megan’s instructions. We had a nice picnic lunch included along the river and were offered time to swim or jump off a rock into a designated area if we wanted to. Would definitely book a trip with River Runners in the future!

5.00A fantastic time had by myself and 2 buddies from high school (class of 1978). Ben was a great guide and a lot of fun. We all got dumped in the river in what's known as the toilet bowl. This was my 2nd trip with River Runners and I'll be back again for sure. Very experienced and knowledgeable team. Worth every penny they charge

5.00Our family had a wonderful time floating Brown’s Canyon with River Runners Outfitters. The reservation and check in process was very informative and professional. Our guide, Carson, was very knowledgeable of the river and the rapids. He kept us all safely in the boat. We stopped for cliff jumping and lunch which was provided for the full day trip. We highly recommend using River Runners and definitely will book with them again.

5.00Fantastic full day tour with lots of fun rapids. Ted was an excellent guide and the lunch was really good - meat &veggie pitas with chips and guacamole. The photo package was worth the purchase. Highly recommend the splash jackets but we didn’t wear the wetsuits. Water was very cold but felt good on a sunny day. Great tour overall!
