Embark on a journey at our advanced oil mill, where you’ll delve into the mysteries of olive oil production, a tradition we’ve for over 400 years. I’ll guide you through "sa mola de su notariu," our museum dedicated to extra virgin olive oil. Here, amidst ancient equipment and stories, you'll experience a time capsule of Sardinian culture, understanding olive oil's pivotal role. Explore the old underground cistern—a magical repository of oil lamps and artifacts from centuries past. The journey continues as taste. I will lead a tasting session where you'll learn to discern the quality of extra virgin olive oil, an invaluable skill. Experience our olive oil's complex flavors: fruitiness, bitterness, and spiciness. Try "Limolio," our unique blend of organic olives and lemons, and "Rogo del Tempio," our spicy oil with a bouquet of nine Sardinian herbs. Enjoy this alongside a selection of cured meats, sparkling wine, natural olives, and carasau bread. We invite you to a sensory feast that celebrates the rich heritage of olive oil through sight, sound, touch, and taste.

Francesco and his wife are a welcoming and pleasant duo, we had a very rewarding and fun time. The discovery of oil and local gastronomy seduced us with its many surprises... We highly recommend this activity, which we think is a must if you come to Sardinia! Easily accessible by bus from Cagliari Small +: Francesco speaks very good French

Excellent tour! Would definitely recommend - it’s a play on a traditional wine tour and felt like I learnt a lot about olive oil! Fantastic experience 🙌

We highly recommend this fantastic experience. It was great be given the tour by the owner whose family have been farming olive trees for many years. The tour began with information regarding the production of the olive oil (film, information boards, photos, machinery and knowledge from the owner). This was followed by olive oil testing in a lovely barn accompanied by Sardinian food and wine. We were awarded a certificate. Afterwards we looked around the museum and shop where we were able to purchase goods.

I too can only recommend the tour with Francesco. After the guided tour and tasting, you look at the olive oil with completely different eyes. Again: That's great, Francesco! Grazie mille.... Cordiali saluti dalla Germania

A welcome at the top and visit maintained while I was alone. I learned a lot about olive oil, preservation, making, harvesting... and tasting. They went to 4 because for the tasting I do not eat meat, they knew how to level in an instant so that I could taste products. I discovered new flavors. The shop has affordable Awards. Do not hesitate to come and discover the knowledge of this family, you keep good information (15 / 20 ° C for the preservation of oil, fruity, bitter and spicy, <8%, extra virgin means nothing, cold pressed .....), but I will say no more, except to visit them.

First of all, Francesco was so much fun! His passion and knowledge were so impressive and we learned so much. We can't wait to dive a bit deeper into tasting the various olive oils that we have available at home to see how they stand up. Francesco prepared a lovely food and wine spread where we were able to enjoy the three different olive oils we tasted prior. We couldn't pass up purchasing olive oil to take home for our daughters as well as bottles for our own use. We also picked up some of the olive salt that we enjoyed during our tasting. We highly recommend spending a couple of hours with Francesco and learning all about the history of olive oil making in his local Sardinian family from several generations back until present day!
