The crew were fabulous. Very informative, friendly, and helpful. A shout out to Eleanor, who was amazing with everyone in the water, especially those who hadn't done it before. A sweet snack was provided after the snorkelling, and you could buy soft drinks for $3 each. It was too choppy for me but has inspired me to try again when I have the chance. Well worth the money.

Friendly crew(Victor, Frankie and Lily ) made the ride out fun. Our snorkeling guides did a great job pointing out various living creatures while snorkeling. They made us feel safe and well taken care of. They took photos underwater and of us and made them readily available after the tour. Highly recommend.

Great tour for travelers short on time. We booked this on a cruise and we were only there for about 8-9 hours. The tour was well planned and executed from the tour guide. They provided all the equipment instructions for a safe and very enjoyable trip. The water was very clear and we saw sea turtles, rays and lots of different fish. I would definitely recommend this tour. My wife especially loved the flotation noodles.

The tour was great and the staff was super helpful. The only thing I wish I knew was that they can take your picture on the reef with the go pro and we can have them later.

The ride out was fun and the reef was incredible, but the way we were managed ruined the experience. We were tightly grouped and so I was kicked in the face twice. Every time I would get some distance from the group to enjoy the reef, I was asked to come back into the tightly grouped people. I can see that the group may have been too big for the two people in the water with us, but then there needed to be a third person. The other annoyance was that the lead guide would give commentary about everything she saw while we were snorkeling. I can’t hear her talk while my head is in the water enjoying the reef and many others I spoke to said they just ignored her talking. One poor woman exited the water after getting kicked the first time and told the guides it was much too crowded. My partner was upset that we were moved on too fast to enjoy the fish and coral she was looking at. This could have been exceptional excursion!

Absolutely fabulous experience. The crew Bradley, Sophia and the Skipper (sorry forgot your name) were awesome and very patient and knowledgeable. They made you feel welcome immediately. We put our stinger suits on in the air conditioned comfort at the meeting point which made it that bit easier. A fun trip there and a stunning snorkel around the reef. The guided tour was not rushed and allowed us to go at an easy pace. Sophia took loads of photos which were uploaded for us all at no extra charge. This was an excellent experience. Definitely a 10/10 from me!

Fabulous afternoon snorkelling on the reef. The staff were all highly professional and very friendly. I’m not an overly confident swimmer but felt very safe with them. What an experience, the fish and corals were so beautiful and so many different kinds. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Reef Adventures is more of a smaller company, which also takes smaller boats to the Barrier Reef and provides more individual support to fellow travellers than can be the case with the large boats. In other words, in the water, the employees tend to relatively few snorkel guests and you get the feeling that any danger situations or weaknesses in fitness are more likely to be detected and reacted to. The employees also take underwater photos that can be downloaded later, while the larger providers require you to borrow the appropriate cameras.
