5.00We throughly enjoyed our day with Emmanuel exploring Cinque Terre with our pick up in Lucca. He’s extraordinary well versed in Italian history and the geography of the area. Excellent idiomatic English and a fun sense of humor. The choice of the three villages (with one other special stop with a spectacular panorama).to spend time in was spot on and gave us time to see the highlights of each one. Enjoyed the restaurant recommendation for lunch where the owner’s menu and wine selection of area vintages - finished off a perfect eight hour excursion.

5.00My husband and I took a day trip from Lucca to Cinque Terre with our parents and enthusiastically recommend this company for private transportation. We enjoyed our driver, Leonardo, who was very insightful and accommodating about the whole experience. Despite having rainy weather, it was still the best of times where we were able to visit all five villages in the Cinque Terre community. If you are looking for a great tour of Cinque Terre in one day, look no further! Leonardo was easy to understand and had great recommendations all around from lunch to shopping.

5.00Claudio was an exceptional safe driver and was well organized for our trip. He drove us first to Manarola and walked with us part way thru the village. He explained how to catch the ferry to Vernazza and gave us a meeting point there. It was a very beautiful ferry ride! Claudio drove us to Corniglia and walked us into town where he made a lunch reservation at a very nice restaurant. He again arranged where to meet us after lunch and we explored the village for a little bit. The last village we explored was Monterosso for only a short time as our excursion time was ending. Monterosso had a beach for swimming. We were somewhat too aggressive with the schedule trying to fit in 4 of the 5 villages. Having your drivers “what’s app” number was key to make any changes or if you want to shorten your time in a certain village. Claudio was professional, interesting and an excellent tour guide for the day!

5.00Allesio was wonderful! He drove us to Cinque Terre , then along the various towns. He dropped us off in the first town and recommended that we take the ferry. He took us to lunch at a fabulous restaurant. He also told us about his favorite gelato place.

5.00Emiliano was an incredible tour guide with wonderful knowledge of the area and of Italian history. He picked us up from our hotel in Lucca and took us through La Spezia, to Manarola, Coniglia, and to the Sancturio de Nostre Signora Della Grazie. It was our first time to Italy and to Cinque Terre and the was the perfect way to visit for our first time. Emiliano set us up for a wonderful lunch at Ristorante Cecio in Corniglia with a beautiful view. We highly recommend this tour and look forward to coming back!

1.00The write up for this tour is totally false. You only get transportation and a driver. When you are on your way, you are told that if you want a tour guide, you need to pay extra 200 Euros. If you say yes, the driver suddenly becomes “a tour guide.” The driver is just a driver and shares nothing about the culture or the history of Cinqueterre. Also, the itinerary is also false. You get to at most do 2 of the 5 locations. It is impossible to visit all 5 sites from Lucca in an 8 hour slot.

5.00Alessio was a fantastic tour guide from Lucca to Cinque Terre! He had everyone from the kiddos to grandparents laughing and most importantly kept us all safe on the twisty mountain roads. The consortium on the top of the mountain near Riomaggiore was a great, local, hidden gem for shopping --- if this is your first stop, don't be afraid to load up on wine and souvenirs, as it has great deals and great local products compared to some of the shops in the busier towns. Alessio was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations as we talked through our custom itinerary. This is a great option to see some sights and some towns without too much walking (read: kiddos and grandparents in tow). One piece of advice for travelers: if you are in your 20s or 30s and in good shape, don't do a guided tour like this - my wife and I covered much more ground via hiking/train 10 years ago when we visited. However, as far as car-guided tours go, this was A+!
