What To Expect

At 9.00 AM we leave cork and drive to the amazing cliffs of Moher in your Air condition luxury chauffeur driven vehicle. You will see the beautiful Irish countryside as we pass the small villages along the way. Driving Time is a maximum of 3 hours
Cliffs of Moher
Our first stop is Visually spectacular, the Cliffs of Moher sit astride the striking landscape of the Burren on one side and the Wild Atlantic Ocean on the other. Rising out of the Atlantic waters to a height of over 700ft at O’Brien’s Tower and running along the coast of Clare for almost 14 kilometres, or 8 miles, the Cliffs of Moher were formed over 320 million years ago, and today form part of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark. The Cliffs of Moher is in a Special Protection Area for Birds and Wildlife. The magnificent Cliffs on the Wild Atlantic Way host major colonies of nesting seabirds and are one of the country’s most important bird-breeding sites. Borrow some binoculars from our information desk and do some bird watching. Enjoy the captivating spectacle of the vast array of sea birds, a delightful way to pass the hours. When we leave the amazing cliffs we will make our way to Bunratty.

We traveled from Kinsale to Galway with him via Bunratty Castle and Cliffs of Moher with a side journey through the Burren and chocolate at Hazel Mountain chocolate! Excellent day and I highly recommend Derek for your journey through Ireland.

5.00Derek O’Keefe is the most amazing tour guide and a lovely person. He truly is a master of his craft! His knowledge of the Cliffs, Bunratty Castle, and the surrounding area was incredible! The routes he chose to take and the little hidden spots were spectacular and just what we needed. The care he took to make sure we had the best possible experience was above and beyond. 5.00Wow! I feel so lucky to have found Derek! Initially, we hired Derek for Cliffs of Moher Tour one day and another the Blarney Castle tour. We were so blown away by Derek’s knowledge and the pure joy and laughter he brought- we hired him to take us to Belfast and included some important sights including Derry, the Peace Bridge and the Giant Causeway, to name a few. Best decision ever! Derek is a very rare gem! I can’t recommend him enough. I am leaving Ireland feeling I have experienced the rich and heartfelt history of this country. And more importantly- its heart. Derek is the Michelin Star of Tours!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
