Great tour to family run farm. After a short walk we arrived at the family farm. English speakers (us) got the 4th generation young man who spoke well and gave a great engaging tour. Actually picked coffee beans, ground them and of course drank coffee prepared 4 ways in our small group Lunch was a pleasant surprise of traditional food. Opportunity to purchase coffee and accessories. It was about a 40-45 minute drive each way. Overall 5 hours. Well worth the money. Suggest tipping the driver who helped out on the tour separately from the actual family member/tour guide.

You’re driven out to a lovely mountainous area where the farm is. The last part of the journey can be steep and slippery so highly recommend trainers with good grip. If you don’t fancy the hilly walk at the beginning you can pay a little extra to go for a horse ride which was fun and equally scary. On arrival you’ll change into boots (bring socks) and ponchos, sombreros and other coffee bean picking attire which makes it fun for photos. Christian is hilarious and welcoming. His family part of the farm for years, he educates you but keeps it light and fun throughout. After walking again in mountainous coffee plant areas you learn more and sample different coffees. All beautifully made. You’re given an amazing traditional lunch with beautiful views. Please book this tour you won’t regret it !

I was a little sleepy when I went on this tour. It’s a good tour. It takes an hour or so to reach the finca and the driver picks you up from your hotel. Once there it’s a short walk to the coffee plantation. You get told the history of the coffee farm and then go through the farm where they teach you how to collect and harvest coffee. Then they have a coffee tasting, lunch, and some time to buy souvenirs. It’s in a beautiful part of Colombia and very relaxing. The driver drops you off back at your hotel afterwards so you don’t have to worry about anything. You also get typical Colombian clothes to take pictures in. Very good tour! And friendly and polite tour company

This was a great tour! My sister and I went on our last day in Medellin and we are so glad we did. Not too far out of the city and transportation was included. Really enjoyed the whole day, from the welcome juice to all the education about the coffee producing process, and of course, the coffee tasting. Loved that it was a family operation. We recommend this experience while in Colombia!

I have limited mobility (two artificial hips) but was able to participate with modest adjustments to the experience. THere are some significant uphills and downhills. I learned a lot about coffee and particularly about the pros and cons of various types of roasting and brewing. As a dedicated French Roast drinker, I discovered I liked some lighter oasts and that lighter roasts are also higher in caffeine. I want to buy a Belgian balance coffee maker.
