What To Expect

Live the experience of knowing every detail of coffee production from the seed to the cup. Just 40 minutes from Medellín, in the San Sebastián de Palmitas Corregimiento, you will arrive at La Finca La Arrinconada, a family farm where you will live this great experience. You will have the opportunity to: 1. Departure from Medellín 2. Welcome drink 3. Introduction to the world of coffee (History and generalities) 4. We provide typical attire to carry out the activity (poncho, hat, rooster tail, machete cover and basket) 5. Visit to the coffee crops (coffee harvesting) 6. Visit to the coffee seedbeds (coffee planting demonstration) 7. Coffee picking contest (with prize awarded to the winner) 8. Processing of collected coffee (pulping, drying, roasting and grinding) 9.     It was an okay experience because of how large the group was. It felt a little unorganized in the way they explained the coffee bean to coffee experience. They did a good job getting us transported to the finca by paying our Uber diver to take us up there.

    Given the condition of the roads and the actual facilities, I do not recommend this tour for most people over 65 years old or anyone with a disability… It would be challenging and dangerous for them… Otherwise, it’s an awesome tour
