What To Expect
Experience every detail of coffee production from seed to cup. Just 40 minutes from Medellin, in the Corregimiento San Sebastián de Palmitas, you will arrive at La Finca La Arrinconada, a family farm where you will live this great experience. You will have the opportunity to: 1. Departure from Medellin 2. Welcome drink 3. Introduction to the world of coffee (History and overview) 4. We provide typical attire for the activity (poncho, hat, cocktail, machete cover and basket) 5. Visit to coffee crops (coffee harvesting) 6. Visit to coffee seedbeds (coffee planting demonstration) 7. Coffee picking contest (award winner) 8. Processing of coffee harvested (pulping, drying, roasting and grinding) 9. Coffee tasting with a professional barista in different methods. 10. Lunch 11. Dessert 12. Souvenir 13. Space for shopping 14. return to the hotel or initial pick-up point 15. Note: the activity includes hill walking of approximately 500 meters. 16. The height of the place is 1,750 meters 17. We may ask you for additional personal information such as ID number, etc.

5.00It is an excellent option, we were picked up from our super comfortable hotel, they were always attentive and very friendly, the whole place is beautiful with a beautiful view, the guide Mateo knows how to explain the coffee process super well and the experience is interactive and very fun, you can take many amazing photos and in the end buy in his store with the same thing you already learned. I highly recommend it

5.00My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this day trip out of Medellin. It was a comprehensive experiential trip that included picking coffee beans and learning about the planting, growth, harvesting, processing and preparing of coffee. We also sampled enough coffee to keep us going for the rest of the day! Everyone from our driver to all the people working at the farm was both friendly and genuinely interested in sharing what they knew. Getting out to the beautiful countryside surrounding Medellin was also well worth it. I highly recommend this trip.

5.00We were a bit worried about having a language barrier. Our fault for not learning more Spanish before starting our trip. Anyways this experience is an absolute delight. I do recommend visiting this family farm. We loved learning how to make coffee. Chris will have you laughing the entire time.
