Food and overall experience was good. A bit difficult for the elderly. Tour guide was very helpful and understanding. Would do It again but be advised of the the fact that there is a significant amount of stairs and walking uphill.

Absolutely wonderful tour, which felt more like an adventure through the streets and alleys of Comuna 13. Our guide, Mateo, was absolutely fantastic as he took us up through the neighborhood. Well-paced and informative with historical and cultural perspectives. Nice to have a few stops along the way for some street food and time to take in the views. Toward the end of the Mateo navigated us away from the tourist areas and into residential streets. He also did a great job keeping the group together on a very busy weekend with tons of people in the narrow streets. I would probably go on a weekday if you can to avoid the crowds. Taking the 4:30 pm tour allowed us to see the area after dark when the colors come to life. Highly recommend this tour.

Learned about the history and transformation of Comuna 13 from one of the most violent areas in Colombia to friendliest, touristic destinations. Would recommend! Do note that pictures with statues are not included with tour.
