What To Expect

Join us in a unique experience in Puerto Vallarta, where conservation is closely lived. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by this turtle conservation team who will welcome you with a refreshing drink in the restaurant next to the campsite, part of the same conservation project. We’ll start with an interactive talk on sea turtles, their life cycle and local efforts to protect them. You’ll find out how each nest is carefully monitored to ensure the survival of the young and how you can be part of this mission. Afterwards, we will walk along the conservation area and the beach as the sun goes down. The crowning moment comes when you participate in the release of the turtles into the ocean. Feeling their energy and seeing them embark on their first journey is a soul-touching experience. Upon completion, you will receive a symbolic sea turtle adoption certificate by email as a memento of your contribution to its conservation. This experience is ideal for families, couples and nature lovers looking to leave a positive mark during their visit to Vallarta.

Watching the tiny turtles make their way toward the waves at sunset was such an amazing experience! The guides were able to answer any and all of our questions and their humor was very welcomed. They're clearly passionate about conservation while still making things entertaining for younger guests. The drink ticket was also much appreciated. Going in late December had great weather, but also meant it was the end of the season for releasing turtles. We were able to get in on the last release just in time!

The turtle release was amazing. Not only did we get educated on these magnificent creatures, we were also able to be part of the next step in their birthday. It was incredible, the backdrop and time of day was perfect. It happened at sunset so the video and pictures were beautiful. The only piece to improve is where we were stood when learning about the turtles. We were standing between a fence and parked cars. Everything else *chef’s kiss*.

It's a magical experience. At sunset, with the sunset. Lovely little turtles! Striving to reach the sea. The instructor very friendly and explains everything very well! You are left reflecting on the struggle to survive of this species. I highly recommend it!

This was so much fun! We even got to release 2 turtles. The only suggestion is to open a gift shop and use a microphone.
