We had an amazing day exploring the beautiful countryside of Hoi An. We went on a lovely bike ride through the rice fields, visited a local vegetable farm, took a fun basket boat tour, and enjoyed a fantastic cooking class where we made four delicious dishes: spring rolls, papaya salad, banh xeo, and pho. Our guide Quan and his family were absolutely fantastic — so kind, welcoming, and helpful. We loved every moment of this experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An!

These activities filled me and my family with happiness. We cycled along beautiful scenery that we would not have found on our own. In addition, the cooking class and water adventure was an unexpected and delightful surprise for my family as I didn’t inform them of these activities.

We had a great morning cycling around, watching the rice paper being made & enjoyed having a go at making the ourselves. The coconut boat ride was fun. The cooking class at the end was excellent & a great way to finish eating tasty food.

This is an excellent tour! We had 11 in our group, a mix of adults and children and we all loved it. We got to walk through the farm, cook some rice taco, go in basket boats and cook 4 delicious meals.

Quan brought our bicycles to our hotel and guided us into the beautiful countryside. We stopped at a vegetable village and had fun making rice pancakes. Then we were taken on a fabulous (and safe) bamboo basket water tour. Finally, Quan’s wife Lily taught us to make 4 delicious courses for our lunch and so kindly provided us with the recipes to take home. A taxi took us back to our hotel. A truly marvellous 4 hour tour which we couldn’t more highly recommend. An absolute highlight of our Vietnamese holiday.

Lovely way to spend the morning. Brilliant experience cycling through town then out along the rice paddies!! Enjoyed visiting the herb gardens and having a go making rice paper. Coconut boat ride was relaxing and it was good fun cooking and eating what we made! Very tasty

The highlight was the cooking class. She was so lovely and funny so cooking with her was easy and the food was so enjoyable. The bike ride to the farm was enjoyable. But the boat ride was a bit underwhelming it was enjoyable but the guy we went with was on the phone the majority of the time which was a bit awkward and made the bad a bit weird. But the cooking class save it completely

Nice tour for a family. I was able to WhatsApp the tour guide a few days before the trip, coordinating location and timings. Unfortunately it wasn’t a true “countryside” bicycle trip as it involved a lot of roads so caution to those who want that as a highlight. For those experienced cyclists, it should be no problem as there was a fair attempt at making a cycling lane for some roads. In the end we had to top up 200k dong to switch to car as my folks were intimidated by the weather and busy roads. Vegetable farm was short but a nice glimpse into the Vietnamese local farming culture. Sadly we missed the rice paper making as it was a Sunday. Bamboo boat ride was as expected - a short jaunt down a sea side. Highlight was the cooking class held by the guide Quan. Delicious food, entertaining teacher with a good grasp of English. Noted they catered to the adjuvant Vegetarian group. Overall it was enjoyable with hit and misses. A good way to spend 4 hours in Hoi An.
