This was a nice excursion but overall it was way too long for what we actually did and made for a really long day. 1 hr - wait to meet guide and board ferry (grace time needed bc the ferry is unreliable) 1.5 hrs - ferry ride. Take a jacket, it's freezing. Plus your Dramamine. 2 hrs? - wait, get instructions, transport to snorkeling site. This includes 45-60 min of snorkeling, and 15 min for snacks. Snorkeling was cool, snacks were nice. 2 hrs - transport to Flamenco Beach for private beach time. Beach was gorgeous, not enough time here. 1 hr - transport back to the ferry, walk around the strip for 30 min (a joke), get in line for ferry and wait. 1.5 hr - ferry ride back to the mainland It would be great if the prep time in the morning could be reduced. We woke up at 530 to make it by 8am. Also, the time spent in town is completely unnecessary. We paid around $150 per person; it would've been nice to include vouchers for chairs, umbrellas, or even lunch at Flamenco. Adriana was our guide and she was great. What an amazing swimmer! Unfortunately the high cost and lengthy day make me unable to recommend this tour.

Awesome experience - very safe - friendly - knowledgeable people. Flamenco beach is gorgeous - order your food when you arrive otherwise you’ll waste your time waiting for your food

The trip consists of snorkeling near the Tamarindo beach (marine reserve) and beach time on the Flamenco beach. Water clarity was great despite rain and wind: we saw 4 or 5 green tortoises during snorkeling! Nora was our guide and Adrianna was our snorkeling guide. Highly recommended if you like marine wildlife!

The tour guides were excellent and very friendly, it was not necessary to be a professional swimmer, they did everything as if you really were.
