This great one day trip will depart Addis Ababa at 8.00 am and have you back in the capital by 4.30 pm. The trip highlights include a visit to the Debre Libanos monastery and the Portuguese bridge. Debre Libanos is a monastery in Ethiopia which is lying northwest of Addis Ababa and it was Founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haymanot we will visit the museums that have a lot of ancient bible books collection with religious crosses later we will see the internal parts of the church with the tombs of the founder of the monastery.

The Portuguese Bridge lying at the Blue Nile George to see the wonderful landscapes and Ethiopian endemic baboons which is called the Chelada Baboon and you will have a chance of seeing Ethiopian Birds.

Debre Libanos is a monastery in Ethiopia which is lying northwest of Addis Ababa and it was Founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haymanot we will visit the museums that have a lot of ancient bible books collection with religious crosses later we will see the internal parts of the church with the tombs of the founder of the monastery then we will have a 10 min hiking to the cave(served like a praying area for the founder of the monastery ST Tekle Haymanot.

We recently enjoyed a one-day tour in the vibrant capital of Addis Ababa. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and picked up at the airport. Our driver and guide were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, providing insightful commentary as they showed us around the city. They were always eager to engage in conversation and answer our questions. We also had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic restaurant where we savored delicious Ethiopian cuisine. We’re so glad we chose Ethio Backpacker Tours for this experience!

After I visit Bahar dar, Gonder, and Simien. I visited the historical monastery of Debre Libanos and the gorge across through Portuguese bridge. I was lucky that I saw gelada baboons. I need to return to Ethiopia with my family! Thank you very much Gashaw for the grateful coordination!

My schedule was tight and couldn't get spare time to stay in Ethiopia, thus I made a short trip to the nearest area in Addis Ababa. I was able to visit the Debre Libanos monastery and we saw baboons, the landscape is very Adorable. I recommend this tour.
