What To Expect
The Cajón del Maipo is a valley that penetrates the Andes Mountains, with several small towns, the main one being San José del Maipo, a small city full of history, which was founded in 1972 and is considered a National Heritage site. The Maipo River gives life to the region and many ecotourism activities take place on its banks. It also irrigates the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, typical of the region. We wind further and further into the Cajón, admiring beautiful landscapes and renewing ourselves with the pure mountain air. The Termas de Colina, with its thermal waters heated by the nearby San José Volcano, is an incredible place to relax in one of its 9 natural and open-air pools, tucked into the mountainside. The water temperature varies in each pool, from 25ºC to 60ºC.

5.00One of the best tours and with landscapes that look like something out of a movie, they're so beautiful. Being amidst the snow and inside the heated pools is a dream. Guide Sebastian was super attentive, funny, helpful and organized. The end of the tour is a very pleasant picnic, washed down with wine and lots of gifts.

5.00We took the tour to Cajón del Maipo and Embalse el Yeso organized by Vinícius and it was wonderful. The guide Constanza was amazing, she knows the region a lot, she is kind and knows how to lead a tour. In the end we had a nice and tasty picnic, because we left Santiago very early. I am grateful for the experience of being in this beautiful landscape in Chile!

5.00The tour goes through several parts of the mountain range, an incredible place! We spent 1:30 hours in the thermal pools. Enough time to enjoy and take photos. Embalse is also very beautiful. The tour was done safely, and the driver and guide were very attentive and fun. I recommend!
