A perfect afternoon for us, before we didn't have something to do on the day and our trip planner showed this tour on Arusha, with a big confidence we booked it. Our guide Israel is so knowledgeable and fluent English makes us feel at home, he knows we'll for his career and what to show and tell the tourist as a tour guide. I recommend Israel and this tour for everyone who's looking for an Arusha city tour.

In the beginning I thought it was long walking but it is clear for just a short distance of one destination to another which includes driving. We had a fantastic guide whose name is Israel who studies general about Tanzania, with his deep knowledge about Tanzania history, culture and modern life style In the city make this tour to be one of the most highlights tours for our Tanzania trip. No matter how much you get, try to book this experience while you are in Arusha.

We were fortunate enough to have a couple of days to visit Arusha prior to heading out on safari. We scheduled this tour to experience the area and couldn’t have been more pleased. The cultural center, art gallery are a must see. Our guide, Israel was terrific. His knowledge of the history of the city/region along with modern day society was outstanding. We are so glad to have taken the time to experience Arusha through this tour and the lens of Israel.

Our hotel near Kisongo was outside the normal pickup zone but we got picked up without a problem. The guide (Israel) and our driver (Daj) were both very welcoming and helpful. Israel not only guided us around some interesting places in Arusha but provided a lot of understanding about the history and culture of Tanzania. If you have half a day to spend in Arusha I can highly recommend it. On our return to the hotel there was an hour long delay because of a political rally for which the police closed the road to ensure that the politicians weren't delayed in their business hmmmmm... Very considerate of the politicians. During this delay I dropped my phone which I didn't realise until after we'd been dropped off at the hotel. With the help of the staff at the Forest Hill (which I'd also recommend, I was able to contact Israel at which point they turned the car around and got back into the heavy traffic to return my phone. I am very grateful to Israel and Daj. This review would have been a lot shorter without the phone issue but no less positive. Keep up the great work. Tanzania is a great place because of people like you.
