Do you want to explore the amazing underwater world around Koh Samui? This one day tour is a PADI program that doesn’t result in a certification, but can be credited as your first open water dive towards your PADI open water certification. It is a perfect day out for those who would like to find out what diving is like and experience the underwater world!

The diving tour ‘Discover scuba diving’ includes transfers to and from your hotel or villa, diving equipment, lunch and drinks. Your instructor will be able to teach you in English, German, French, Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Thai. And last but not least: we have a perfect safety record in 14 years of business!

If you want, you can come to one of our pools to try out breathing underwater with one of our instructors. That way you can really get a feel for what diving is like before going out in the ocean. We work only with 5 star PADI Dive Centers.

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Minimum age is 13 years

Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

What To Expect

When you do a introductory diving program in Thailand, you discover excitement and adventure – freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling! The introductory diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a Dive Instructor in ideal conditions. During your adventure, you’ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills before heading off on an open water dive. And with crystal clear, calm waters at Mango Bay or Japanese Garden available all year round in Samui, there is no better place for your first experience of breathing underwater. Your open water dive takes you as deep as 12 metres. The introductory diving program experience is a great way to get a head start on your Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification. That’s because the skills you complete during your Thailand diving adventure, such as mask clearing, regulator recovery and sharing air, may credit these certification levels, so you can continue where you left off. Booked for my Sons birthday and some family friends. Absolutely fantastic day. Staff were brilliant and made us feel welcome they made the day fun. Pick up was prompt. Great photos taken by staff for you to purchase. They sang Happy Birthday to my Son once briefing was complete which was lovely. The food was fantastic and plentiful. They contacted us a few days before to reschedule as the weather conditions weren't the best for our chosen day, luckily we could do the alternative day, this was reassuring for us to know safety was obviously priority and wanting the best experience. Definitely worth the money.

Our group guide Steve was fantastic at teaching us and making g sure we had a great time. He clearly is an expert so we were in good hands. I was a bit nervous with two teen that have never dove before, but they picked it up and had a blast. We had a blast

Beginner scuba dive with Fabian (Swiss instructor) was top level instruction and supervision guiding my daughter and I through the reef and overwatch of our well-being. As beginners you are paired with one instructor. Equipment, boat and crew were first class including the transfer vehicles. Lunch supplied on boats was delicious and ample drinking water. For Aussies remember it’s in USD default when googling and change to your rate on its page. The cancellation policy is very fair as long as it’s 24hrs prior. The experience will be a life long memory!

Great day out with a great instructor. Picked up from our hotel with return transfer. About 7 hours full day with 2 dives around 40-50minutes. If you’re a beginner or still making your way up the ranks, this is a great cruisy day for all. No stress, no fuss, just a good day

I was picked up right on time for an amazing day in the water, I had a wonderful day in the water with the incredible Yuan. He was so friendly and kind and a very good instructor, he helped me to refresh my scuba vocabulary and also did some practices with us in the water.
