There are many places to explore on this 8 hours All-Inclusive private tour including a visit to Rhumerie St-Aubin where you will all learn about Rum making. You will get to enjoy a boozily delicious rum tasting session.
Then head to Bois Cheri Tea Factory to visit the tea production & taste the famous tea admiring a great view. Next, drive to Blue-Bay Marine park where you will enjoy a Glass Bottom Boat trip including snorkeling. You will be delighted by the underwater world.
Later, savor a 3-course lunch & continue to Mahebourg museum to learn about the historical journey of the island. Next, head to Mahebourg waterfront which is famous for the Bataille de la Passe, or simply take a stroll. Then, drive to Mahebourg local market to learn about how locals' culture & the artisanal products.
Then, head to Frederick Hendrick museum to visit the dutch ruins. Finally, drive to Pointe Canon for its anti-ship cannons.

Bois Cheri Tea Factory and Tea Museum
Begin your 8 hours All inclusive East of Mauritius tour with a hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off for your first stop at Bois Cheri Tea Factory. Firstly, you'll head to the Bois Chéri Tea factory. A guide will lead you through the factory & the tea plantation, offering you to discover the history, stories, and tales of the Bois Chéri and the importance of tea productions in Mauritius. After the guided tour of the tea factory, you will visit the tea production museum learning more about the history of tea in Mauritius. The Bois Chéri offers a great panoramic view of the south of the island. Nowadays Bois Chéri produces a new range of flavored teas, green teas & herbal teas. You may taste them during your visit.
Then heading to discovering the Rhumerie St Aubin. Set in a charming colonial house, exhibiting tropical and traditional vibes, The Rhumerie de St Aubin Distillery will have you learn all you need to know about Rum making on paradise island. Commonplace, incomplete visit, lunch canteen and a Viator provider to avoid

1.00I will not speak of the excursion itself which we found banal. However, I really do not recommend viator. Some of the activity is missing and it is not our doing and you have a lunch worthy of the worst school canteen. So you pay 23,000 rupees or 399 euros for a lunch whose budget by the provider is limited to 800 rupees per person (not even 15 euros). Even the restaurateur we talked to was shocked. You do not make part of the excursion because the driver prefers to go home, (I specify that we are on time) rather than finish the excursion. Be careful, these elements are not convincing for Viator. I think it would take a cyclone to get any compensation, and I still doubt it given their commercial department. However, I highly recommend Get your guide. Any problem, they're over-responsive. For our part, we boycott Viator ad vitam eternam. You are warned, it is up to you to see

5.00Anuj was a great guide. Explained all well even during the trip to the south. Also explained some more local items. So you learn more about the country and the people. He even was so kind to stop on the way to try real local street food.

1.00Extremely bad experience for a telephone reservation by Viator on May 11 for 5 people (private tour). A full day of irritation. We had booked a minivan for more comfort and a car picked us up. No way to change. We had booked a circuit that could be modified at our convenience in private tour. The driver and the agency repeatedly refused to make any minor changes to the itinerary. We had to repeat many times that we did not want to visit a rum and a plantation of the. . We traveled with Viator and local agencies in many countries with pleasure. This is our first disappointment related to this local agency in Mauritius. Our next excursions to the island are planned with other professionals.

4.00We started well with good advanced communication from our driver/guide Agi. He was on time at pick up. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. We saw lots of things we would otherwise not have seen. We didn’t stay too long in any one place which for us was good. This was a private tour for just my wife and myself.

5.00This was our last trip in mauritius. we had an amazing time exploring the east mauritius. very nice parks to visit. again kesh was our driver. He is a very knowledgeable guy.. the local food was very nice.. will reccomend..
