5.00Our walking tour of Vigo was absolutely fantastic and easily one of the highlights of our time in Galicia — and that was largely thanks to our wonderful guide, Jorge. Jorge brought Vigo to life with his deep knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and maritime traditions. He struck the perfect balance between informative and entertaining, sharing fascinating stories about the Old Town (Casco Vello), the port, and Vigo’s role in Galician history, while also pointing out hidden details and local favorites we never would have found on our own. He was warm, engaging, and incredibly patient, making sure everyone in our group felt included and comfortable. Jorge also gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, viewpoints, and local experiences, which made the rest of our stay even better. If you’re visiting Vigo, I can’t recommend this walking tour — and especially Jorge — highly enough. It’s the perfect introduction to the city and a truly enjoyable way to explore its character, history, and charm.

5.00George was a very knowledgeable about his city. His stories about the city added an extra charming element. It was a tour with approximately 9 people. He was well spoken with a good grasp of English My only issue was that the tour description did not indicate that there would be steps when visiting the fort

5.00We easily found George at the designated meeting place and introduced ourselves. He showed great interest in where we were from and our experience of Vigo so far. We were shown the highlights of the area accompanied by a detailed explanation of the history and architecture of each place. We were encouraged to ask questions and so it turned into a very bespoke tour rather than just a copperplate script. George's english is very good and his manner is very engaging so we would highly recommend this tour.
