Excellent tour guided by Mike who is very knowledgeable of the village and the series as he was involved as a support actor. He showed us the Doc Martin sets, historic parts of Port Isaac and we he took us to places that you wouldn't go otherwise. For instance, we went to see the narrowest road together with a comprehensive explanation why it was there and who made it, just to mention one the interesting locations. All in all very fascinating tour. I would definitely recommend it.

The village of Port Isaac, known to many fans as Portwenn. Walking the cobbled streets and precarious hills feels even more like the beloved fictional location. Our guide for the tour was Dave who is an actual veteran of Portwenn, having served as an extra .His unique position allowed him to turn the walking tour into an insider's view of the production. He didn't just point out landmarks; he weaved together local stories listing all the episodes he'd appeared in. The tour itself was a good exploration of the town's geography as it relates to the show's script. We were guided to all the iconic frontages used in the filming. Standing directly outside Doc Martin's surgery, then walking just a few feet to Mrs. Tishell's chemist (complete with its distinct blue sign), and finally seeing the famed harbor where the lifeboat station is located—it was truly good fun.

Lovely tour of Port Isaac with a mixture of Doc Martin locations and filming secrets and history of Port Isaac. Took us all around the village, off the main streets and into the fascinating streets behind. Highly recommend even if you’re not a Doc Martin watcher - just a great way to see the place and get a feel for it

Mike Meakins led our tour and it was excellent!! A quietly spoken guy, full of interesting information from his behind the scenes experience as a supporting actor in Doc Martin and as a local resident. We absolutely loved it!

Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Go! Tour guide Mike was an extra in numerous years of the series and so had a ton of insider stories and insights and took us to several surprise sites of Doc Martin scenes that people have forgotten or don’t know to go see. The tour was the best thing we did in beautiful Port Issac. PS. Take the walk up to Bert’s bench.

We had a fabulous day ! It was a great tour in a lovely village. Our guide , John, was very funny and informative , I learned a lot about how the scenes are made. Who knew Mrs. Tishell had so many different chemist shops ! Even if you are not a massive fan, you will enjoy the walk and the scenery. I have spinal stenosis and walk with a stick and I managed the gentle slopes perfectly well. However do not follow the sat nav to the meeting point of the sweet shop. It is very narrow and you can’t turn the car round ! You have to park further away. Would throughly recommend.
