Highly recommend. The owners are super knowledgeable and very sweet. The dogs are awesome and love what they do. Was able to take as many pictures I wanted to with all the dogs and got all of their fur kisses.

Such a wonderful & breathtaking experience! Staff were incredibly kind and personable. Our children were treated with respect and allowed to participate without hesitation. There were a total of 7 people in our tour - 2 children under 6yo, 4 adults in our party, and 1 additional guest. We had 2 your guides (Dane & Jaren) who created a unique experience. They told us all about the Ididarod, the dogs, and their races. My favorite part was how cared for the dogs were. The staff were so intuned with their dogs that they could tell us even the smallest details. Such a wonderful experience! Would HIGHLY recommend & would go back again!

My wife and I had the most incredible dog sledding adventure, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, everything was well organized, safe, and genuinely exciting. The dogs were clearly well cared for and loved to run, and their energy and enthusiasm made the whole experience even more special. They were fun and friendly, and we even got to spend time playing with them, which made the experience feel really personal. Watching the team take off and feeling the sled glide over the snow was something we will never forget. It was peaceful, beautiful, and thrilling all at the same time. Our guide, Dane, drove the sled for us, which allowed us to fully relax, take in the scenery, and just enjoy the ride. He was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining how everything works. We especially loved the Iditarod history lesson and hearing about Dane’s own experience in dog sledding. It added so much depth to the adventure and made it more than just a ride. It felt like we were getting a glimpse into a true Alaskan tradition. The scenery was stunning, with wide open snowy landscapes that felt straight out of a movie. We had plenty of time for photos, and getting to interact with the dogs afterward was a highlight for both of us. If you are considering dog sledding, do it. This was an unforgettable experience that we will be talking about for years.

This dog sled ride exceeded my expectations in every way! The views, the dogs and guides were some of the best I’ve had in Alaska. Matthew and Liz are wonderful to work with from scheduling a reservation, the sledding itself, to the hot chocolate and stories post-ride. Matthew was our guide that day and he’s an incredible host and dog trainer. You can tell he loves what he does and loves his dogs even more. The AHA dog team is the most loving and friendly pups you’ll ever meet, especially for working dogs. Our group loved every minute spent on the sleds and playing with the dogs and we will definitely be back with other friends and family! Come check out this actively racing Iditarod team and follow them through the dog sled racing season

This was beyond incredible. Our guide actually completed the Iditarod! The dogs are well taken care of. My questions (& I had a lot) were patiently answered. The trail was breathtaking. Called the morning of even after not seeing the amount of same day openings needed. Owners couldn't have been more accommodating including checking the road conditions before we headed up. Loved the hot coco & rice crispy treat after & warming my frozen tootsies by the heater! Worth the drive up from Anchorage. A must do!
