There are few experiences as wonderful as enjoying the spectacle of animals in their natural environment and without a doubt being able to see dolphins and whales up close is one of the most impressive. Sometimes there will be a few and sometimes there will be thousands of them but it's always fascinating
On our excursions you can see from the small common dolphin to the largest animal that has lived on the earth; the blue whale. But you will also have the possibility to see turtles, flying fish and other marine species.
You can see the beautiful coast from another perspective and you will also have the possibility to swim in the sea if you want.

Explore the waters of Gran Canaria and discover the wonderful world of cetaceans. This island is one of the most important places in Europe for marine diversity, with around 30 species, including dolphins, whales, orcas and porpoises. These incredible animals breathe air, have warm blood and feed their young, making each sighting a unique and special moment. With two daily departures from Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, we depart at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm on a 2.5 hour adventure along the spectacular southwest coast of the island. Our boat, Spirit of the Sea, is equipped with a large glass bottom that allows a unique view of marine life beneath the waves. Our friendly multilingual team will accompany you with each sighting and provide you with information to recognize the different species. Although it is common to see dolphins, if in any case we fail to see them, we offer you a free pass to try again another day. Our mission is based on respect and care for marine life. We have the necessary permits from the Government of the Canary Islands and operate ethically to ensure the welfare of animals.

In my opinion it's not worth the money you pay They say they give drinks and snacks but charge you 2 hours browsing without being 100% sure if you will see them or not And then just a 10-minute stop to bathe I don't really ask for the education refund

A beautiful mishap: very rough sea, sailing for 2 hours without seeing any animals. On the way back, swimming break 500m from the port, great! 💩 The beaches are 200m 😅 130€ for a family... Catch tourist flee! We left at 13:30, the first departure came back at 13:00, at no time was it told that the sea was rough and that we might not see anything. Once back in port , they offer you a ticket valid for one year for a next outing 😂 at least they have a sense of commercial humor! No refunds, no commercial gestures. In short, flee this activity, at least this 'company'

We booked this through the Jet2 rep, there were two companies to choose from, however our rep Tony advised that Spirit of the Sea donate to marine conservation so naturally I went with them. We were picked up near our hotel and it was €40 per person. If you don't see any dolphins you get a voucher for another trip, our rep did advise there is a small fee for the second trip to cover the transport. As of Oct 2025 that feels was €6 per person. We had a great experience watching Dolphins in their natural habitat, I wasn't expecting to see so many flying fish. Bonus we also got to see a mum and baby together. The boat was quite rocky when stationary a few people were a little green around the gills but nobody was sick and it was quite smooth while moving. When we got off the bus was already there waiting for us for our return trip. There are unlimited free soft drinks and beer, wine and snacks can also be bought onboard.
