A piece of the city you’ll see after hours. Trinity college with no one else around, talented actors giving a glimpse back in time to when the likes of James Joyce, Brendan Behan, Oscar Wilde and Beckett rambled the cobbles.

Entertaining, well presented , interesting literary information and quotes, with the pubs close by each other. And a quiz! Which we won !!

My favorite tour! This was my third time on this tour. I plan to go on it every time I visit Dublin! If it is your lucky evening you will have Frank as your tour guide. Great actor, ridiculously knowledgeable and a really nice guy.

Take notes - they offered such good information! We enjoyed the stories and the music. The trivia game was a nice bonus.

It’s a one of a kind experience that delivered far more instruments, history and music than I was expecting.

Excellent…best walking tour I have been on. Both Colum/John did such a great job, would definitely recommend them to any visitors in Dublin City.

Such a nice experience. Guides were lovely and the Irish music added a warm touch! The pubs we visited were old and very traditional. Highly recommended

My wife and I had so much on the pub crawl! It was entertaining and informative, and Frank and John were wonderful guides. I can’t recommend this enough if you want to learn more about Dublin’s literary history and try some of the old local pubs.

Amazing tour and worth every minute. Was recommended by a few people and did not disappoint. It was a great way to see the city, experience a few older pubs, and hear about what makes the Irish writing scene so special. Couldn’t recommend more!

This tour is awesome. We had about 20, maybe 25 people on the tour from varying places. But it was the guides who made it so great. Frank and Finnbar, and I’m sure I’m spelling that wrong but I did clarify that that was indeed his name ha ha. Really great tour guides and friendly just to chat with along the way. They give you some interesting facts and perform renditions and some Samuel Beckett and craic a lot of jokes (get it?). You go to a couple of pretty neat, old-school Irish pubs overflowing with Irish literary history, and even make a stop at Trinity College. It was like having a friendly local walk you around that neighborhood and point out things you’d never see on your own. I recommend this tour wholeheartedly. It’s worth every penny and please don’t forget to tip your guides. I saw several people walk off without tipping them. C’mon. Tip your guides, people. And it was fun having a beer with them afterwards. They made it fun for everybody and the quiz at the end, I don’t think I knew a single answer. But it was fun watching the people compete who really paid attention, trying to win the T-shirt ha ha. I definitely developed an interest for Brendan Behan. Five stars.
