Guinness Storehouse
On this fun filled engaging tour you will visit the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction, a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and brings to life the heritage of this world famous dark stout beer. In the company of your local expert guide your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin and listening to some great stories from your engaging and friendly guide. Your guide will commence your escorted tour at the ground floor Atrium to see the copy of the 9,000-year brewery lease signed by Guinness’ founder, Arthur Guinness, in 1759, and learn about the four ingredients of the iconic Irish stout: water, barley, hops and yeast. Other highlights waiting to be discovered include finding all about the Guinness brewing and barreling process through virtual exhibits, equipment displays and videos on the craft of the coopers — the original wooden barrel-makers. Then, you can continue on to the other floors where you can immerse yourself in the Guinness story through a host of interactive displays and multi-sensory experiences. Discover the key moments in Guinness’ history and advertising and before you leave you may like to visit the Guinness Store to buy some Guinness-branded memorabilia — the perfect souvenir of your visit.

I had a great time! My tour guide Richard was awesome!! The breath of knowledge I gained from the tour was incredible. Getting to skip the line at the Guinness factory was pretty good too!

After taking this tour (enduring this tour, I should say), I cannot think of any reason to pay Viator for this. You can just easily buy a timed ticket online for Jameson and enter (on time), without any help from Viator anybody else. If you get there early, there is a very nice bar inside to pass the time till your appointed tour begins. Granted the line to get into Guinness appeared lengthy, and in cold weather, but once you get inside, you simply wander around, as there is no real tour. But if you expect transportation between these two venues from Viator, you are going to be sadly, sadly disappointed. You will be hoofing it from Jameson to Guinness, and not even in a direct route. God knows we went at least a mile out of the way just so our tour guide could show us the Brazen Head (unaware we had already eaten lunch there on this visit). I’m sure such a walkabout is more pleasant in the summertime, but it sure sucked in late December. I have concluded that our circuitous stroll from Jameson to Guinness was the only way Viator could stretch this event to 4 hours and demand the money they do. Keep your money in your pocket, book both tickets yourself online, and for God’s sake take an Uber from one place to the other.
