We depart Dublin @ 08:00, driving through the midlands down to Blarney, in the beautiful County Cork. We will pass through the Golden Vale, the most fertile lands in all of Europe with green fields as far as the eye can see.
Rock of Cashel
Our first stop will be the world famous Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary. One of Ireland's most evocative sites, you can stroll in the footsteps of St. Patrick flanked by ruins, Celtic crosses and round towers. Feel the soul of Ireland. The Rock of Cashel was the traditional seat of the Kings of Munster until they donated the complex to the Catholic Church almost 1,000 years ago for use as a cathedral. One of the best examples of medieval architecture anywhere in Europe. Your entrance fee (EUR 7.00) is included in the price of this tour.

This tour was amazing. Our guide JJ was a total pleasure, his humor and knowledge made the trip even more special. The 3 sites were everything promised in the booking details. I would recommend this experience to everyone.

We were out in a very small van. With all the road noise and no microphones we were only able to hear about 10% of what the guide was telling us. We missed out on a lot of information. It was very disappointing.

You are given just the right amount of time at each location. Our driver Brian was amazing, such fun and informative. He really made they trip a special one. Just be sure to be dressed for the weather and wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking and stair climbing.

A completely horrible experience, which started from the very beginning. The booking provides a pickup location, but when you click on the location in the Viator app and it offers you to find the location in Google Maps, it provides GPS coordinates, which I followed. I made it to the coordinates 7 minutes before pick up time and did not see anyone from the company. At 8 am, I received a phone call from the tour provider, not the driver. When I told her where I was, she didn’t seem to know where I was and started to provide me with directions where to go which basically took me farther away than the actual pickup location. When she told me to enter Trinity Church Dublin, I made it to the location at 8:06 am and there was no transport there. I tried to call back the tour operator twice and she did not answer the phone. When she finally called me back at 8:10 am , and I advised her that no one is there. She advised that the driver must have already left. She initially offered to reschedule my trip, but when I advised that I don’t have any ability to reschedule my itinerary, she confirmed that there has been a problem with the Viator app and told me that she cannot refund my trip now, but if I submit a refund request through Viator, she will approve the request. So I did this, and 2 hours later they refused the refund claiming that the meeting address was listed in the booking. Bottom line this is an agency that targets unsuspecting tourists to defraud them out of money. The location where I was at the GPS coordinates and the location the tour operator provided was so close, that I would have walked by that area to get to the GPS coordinates, and I never saw anyone in a transport van/bus waiting for tourists. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were never there and this entire operation is a method they use to defraud tourists. I have booked many other trips in Dublin through Viator and besides the location which is better marked , the operators also provide additional information about the pickup location because again their customer base are tourists that more than likely are not familiar with the area. So the entirety of their operation is definitely not customer friendly, assuming they’re in business for providing service at all.
