Our guide Samantha was magnificent! She was funny, informative, thoughtful, and attentive to each of us. She even recommended a place for lunch and walked us there after the tour!

This tour was a little pricey for what you got. There was no transportation involved. We were in a large group and some had canes and trouble walking. They did not know it was a walking tour, nor did we. Our guide, Richard, was knowledgeable and probably did the best he could with that many people. I would recommend doing it in your own at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College, if you want to see The Book of Kells. Dublin Castle was just a walk-by and was under restoration.

Our tour was very long. Too much time in the St. Patricks Cathedral was too long . The time at the Palace was too long. There was quite a lot of walking. We had 27 in our group and our Tour leader had a difficult time making sure everyone could hear him. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, answered everyone’s question. He kept apologizing about the walking, the size of the group, and the heat. I was so excited to see the Long Room and was a little disappointed that more than 3/4 oh the shelves in that beautiful room were empty of books. It was still beautiful but we were given no notice that we would just see empty shelves in that BEAUTIFUL room. We needed more free time to walk Grafton Street, Temple Bar, or the beautiful Georgian Architecture around the city. We loved Dublin❤️
