The crown jewel of Durmitor National Park, the Tara River, carves through the landscape to create Europe's deepest canyon. This awe-inspiring natural wonder showcases Montenegro's unspoiled beauty at its finest. Standing as a testament to human ingenuity, the grandiose Đurđevića Tara Bridge spans the canyon, soaring over 150 meters above the emerald waters below. There is a lot of driving involved relative to the time spent at the main sights and the Tara Canyon was a little disappointing as all the books tell you it’s the second deepest in the world but the bridge is nowhere near the deepest part, which is essentially inaccessible to all but mountaineers. However, you do see a lot of the country. The reason for the five stars is our guide, Vladimir Markovic, who was excellent. As well as being a good guide with perfect English, he was a great travelling companion and we ended the trip as good friends.

The tour was amazing. With my wife we went on August 2024 and because we didn't have much time decided to do this tour to see the northern part of Montenegro. We were so pleased that our tour operators Vlad was eager to tell us lots about the montenegrin history, and he also showed us some place that since me and my wife are nature lovers we loved them. Such as the tara bridge (i did the zipline, my wife was afraid to do it), the black lake(an alpine lake that has a really beautiful restaurant and really good food). I recommend this tour to everyone, and don't forget to do the zipline for me was an extraordinary experience
