Day dedicated to discovering the surroundings and the artisans that make Antsirabe famous. Aboard a rickshaw, the city’s iconic means of transport, meet the locals and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the colourful alleyways. A stop at the Asabotsy Point of Sale, one of Madagascar’s largest and liveliest, will allow you to explore stalls full of local products, crafts and spices with mesmerizing scents. The route continues to Independence Square, where there is a monument offering breathtaking views of the Inn of Thermal Baths and the old train station, witnesses of the city’s colonial past. Second day, after a large breakfast in the middle of nature, we continue our adventure with a walk to the Sacred Mount. Depending on the desire, we can explore Ankarinoro or Ambohipo, hills full of history and spirituality, symbols of the customs and customs of the Betsileo. These sacred sites offer breathtaking views of the region and immerse us in local beliefs and traditions. At the end of the day, we meet our vehicles to resume the road to Fianarantsoa. The next day, head to Ampatsinakoho for a day trip at the pace of the fishermen. After a short drive, you reach this remote coastal village, nestled between wild beach and rainforest. You will share the daily lives of fishermen: netting, canoe trips to sea, the harvest of the day, and stories from the elders.
