Kia Orana 🌺 My 2 daughters and I did the ei katu class in Aug 25. Was an amazing experience in a beautiful setting with fabulous hosts/ teacher. Would highly recommend AND you get a beautiful ei katu to wear and enjoy. We did a little photo shoot on the famous Charlie's coconut tree 🌴

This was such a lovely afternoon! The table was piled high with gorgeous flowers but Juanita apologised that there weren’t many flowers due to it being winter 😆🤣, (there were hundreds more than there are currently at home in Dunedin) I’d love to see what the selection is in summer. We learned a lot about the Cook Islands culture, learned some of the beautiful dance moves, and everyone made a beautiful Ei Katu, (floral headdress) with all the direction and advice we needed. It was like being welcomed into the home of a friend. Meitaki Ma'ata, Juanita, Thank You

We literally landed in the Cook Islands and I absolutely loved their floral head pieces. A quick google search and I found Coco brush and would you believe they had a class that day (the next one was not for another month). I emailed straight away and they fit myself and my mum in. Amazing!! We had barely been on the island and we had the most wonderful experience. The hospitality, views and class were all exceptional. And we wanted away with a beautiful head piece and a new found knowledge about the culture.

An amazing experience upon a beautiful setting looking over Rarotonga in the cool lush setting of native flowers. Beautiful flowers and colors laid out on the table for our ei making session. Was a beautiful afternoon and we made beautiful ei’s for our sisters and aunties with our mum. The team were awesome from the ride up to the studio to the ei making, refreshments, music and stories of the history of Rarotonga and learning the meaning of dance moves! Was an amazing afternoon!
