  Overall, the experience was "quite okay." However, we had hoped for something more. The driver showed us the animals unfortunately only very briefly, which made the observation difficult. The Jeep was also a bit old; the seats were very hard and made the longer journey uncomfortable. Another deficiency was that the water was only served on demand and then only warm. But what we really lacked was the promised binoculars. On a safari, I think this is indispensable to observe the animals well. It was fine, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of equipment and service.

  We had a wonderful experience. Our guide Amila was very helpful, friendly and knew lots of interesting facts about the animals. We told Amila that we didn't want to hunt leopards, but wanted to see all the animals in the park. We wanted an experience without crowds and jeeps – and that's exactly what we got.   Super nice experience. I asked quite late in the evening if a safari was possible for tomorrow. I received a very quick response and it was quickly arranged. We were picked up at our hotel by Amila. He was the driver and guide. He explained everything well. He quickly spotted many animals and gave fun facts. He knew a lot and was enthusiastic.   My husband and I had the best time exploring Yala National Park. We did the half-day tour, although it felt short, Su, our guide, did an absolutely phenomenal job showing us all the wonderful birds and animals. We even had the absolute pleasure of spotting the infamous Sri Lankan leopard! Su’s knowledge and guiding skills were second to none. Many thanks for an unforgettable experience!

  Just finished our safari, it was a great time. I would definitely recommend. The guides were great and we saw lots of animals. Our guide worked hard to show us animals and get us close. Bring your own binoculars if you can. We had a lot of fun!

  One of the best experiences in Sri Lanka! Srimal, our driver and guide, made our experience perfect, we could see leopards, elephants, wildebeest, deer, crocodiles and a variety of birds. At no time do they assure you that you can see leopards, it is very difficult, but Srimal did everything possible to make sure that we saw all the animals possible. Taking the Safari with this Enterprise was a sure hit, you will not be disappointed!

  Janaka are absolutely amazing - from start to finish we felt safe and secure with our guide Sanjee. His knowledge of the park and wildlife were astounding. There are lots of guides racing around chasing sightings with bored and frustrated guests. Janaka know where to find the best sightings and get you there calmly and professionally. Frequently stopping to point out animals that other guides miss. It was not surprising to see so many ‘standard’ guides deferring to the superior knowledge of Sanjee. Thank you Janaka for making our Yala experience truly magical and the memories will stay with us for many happy years.

  Damith was a really good driver. He was really looking out for us and wanted us to habe the best views. He managed to drive us to a leopard, which walked exactly next to our car. Incredible experience. You should ask for Damith as a driver.

  Amazing safari with experienced guide and driver Su, we not only saw a leopard up close but also a cub in a tree, in addition to almost all other animals but a sloth bear, which we then saw next day during the morning safari! Su speaks English very well and is not only somehow in the first row most of the time but more importantly, a very considerate guide, giving room to the animals so we can observe and not "hunt" them. A definite recommendation!

  Our driver already told us a lot about the safari and the park when driving to Yala Nationapark. We also saw a crocodile and a bear. Elephants have also run into us some. Then he got a call where he learned that a leopard was sighted nearby and he went there quite quickly ! When we got there, there were already several jeeps on site and the drivers of the other vehicles almost caused accidents so that they could get very close to the animal. Our driver kept very exemplary in the background and we still came to very nice photos of this wonderful creature. All in all it was a beautiful safari with many different animals and also many birds !
