Udawalawe National Park
Framed by soaring highlands on its northern boundary, the Udawalawe National Park is one of the world's best places to see wild elephants. Largely comprised of grasslands and bush forest, it's also one of the best national parks in Sri Lanka for game spotting.
Elephant Transit Home (ETH)
The Udawalawe Elephant Transfer Home is a facility within Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka that was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.

5.00Amazing trip with everything so well organised that we could fully enjoy the whole day. Pick up was absolutely on time, gentle and took care of everything. Safari guide had an eye for even the small birds with some insights and side stories. We would definitely recommend this trip as a perfect experience

5.00It was really a very nice experience. All the transfer was very good organized, no problem at all. Lunch was nice. The tour was very interesting, guide showed us a lot of things. Because of the dry season and the noon sun a lot of animals have hidden themselves in the trees. But overall was very nice.

5.00The entire experience was incredible . To see elephants so close was unbelievable and then to have the opportunity to see the elephant sanctuary where the babies that lost their mums get fed and prepared to be released back into the wild is do touching! Our guid Dinesh was the best ! He was really knowledgeable, really friendly and full of surprises! Could not recommend him any higher!!! Very impressed with everything and when we will be back we will definitely use the same company for our tours!
