The tour was absolutely wonderful! We visited so many different kinds of wineries — from local hidden gems to famous ones — and each had its own charm. Our guide was fantastic! He explained everything so clearly, and we learned so much while having a great time along the way. It was such an amazing experience — highly recommended!!

This was my favorite wine tour of all. Our guide , LUIZ, was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the wine/champagne of the region. We had a great tour of a champagne cellar, and got to try lots of different champagnes. And Luiz surprised everyone in the tour with a glass of champagne as we stood at the top of a hillside overlooking some vineyards. Because of their connections with champagne houses, and other people in the area, we were able to go to places that weren’t over touristy. We also got to see the countryside and a couple of small villages. And we had an enjoyable lunch at a restaurant in Champaign that Luiz brought us to. Can’t recommend this enough!

Luiz was a brilliant tour guide in Champagne. He was really knowledgeable and friendly. He brought us to meet champagne growers we never would have had an opportunity to visit without him. I'd highly recommend any of his tours

Our group of 4 had a wonderful day with Caroline! She took us all over the Champagne region, introduced us to an excellent grower/winemaker, and toured us through several interesting, historical sites, including a cellar that few tour companies have permission to access. Our lunch, booked on Caroline’s recommendation, was the best meal of our trip so far. I highly recommend this tour and absolutely would book with the company again.

We booked last minute due to issues with a booking through another service, and thankfully Luiz was able to accommodate us. Due to the time of year (early January), it was only one other couple on the tour. This did make the day feel much more personalized, but I am sure Luiz works to make every tour personal. We had a wonderful day, and Luiz has an incredible knowledge of the history of the area, the history of France, and the history of Champagne. Luiz picked a great place for lunch for us, and two wonderful vineyards. We will not hesitate to book again with Luiz.

Luiz was a very welcoming and friendly host and guide. His knowledge of Epenay and the Champagne region, with its history, and wine, was extensive and he conveyed this information in a very relaxed manner. He was very flexible with the tour and provided some extra interesting and delightful experiences.

Loved this tour, the only downside and you should check before booking is you have to make your own way back from Épernay. The tour guide was great, lunch is not free so that's not included. We toured champagne houses that we had never heard of but that did not matter as the champagnes we tasted were delicious. If you want to visit the famous houses, this is not the tour for you. We were picked up from Riems Cathedral and had a look around it before we departed. We got to walk Champagne Avenue, where all the famous Champagne houses are, and visited the church were Dom Perignon lived and is buried.

A great way to explore, taste and learn more about Champagne. Saw vineyards you can’t see everyday, tasted champagne we had never had before. Really learnt a lot about the history of champagne, wine making processes and got to see the beautiful area.
