What To Expect
Parque Nacional Picos de Europa
Our first destination will be the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park. The time chosen for departure, 10:00, will allow us to start the ascent contemplating some conquering views. Before getting off the bus, you will fall in love with the incredible natural landscape that will surround you at all times. Wherever you look, you will only see the green color of nature.
Basilica de Santa Maria la Real de Covadonga
It is built with stones from the mountains of this Royal Site, so its color will draw your attention. In front of the main door of this temple, you will discover the history of Asturias thanks to the explanations of our guide. All this, under the tentative gaze of King Pelayo.

4.00Well organized route and the guide explained every historical detail. But all too fast. I missed more free time to visit the lakes and make the route more calm. Pretty crowded place.

4.00The meeting place was a bit vague and it was not mentioned that this tour was part of another tour - so bus made a 30 minute stop shortly after we got on it for that group to use restroom and get food. Our bus driver and the guide was very good and made the tour enjoyable. The lakes are beautiful - we wished the time there could have been longer.
