We used Cambodia Tourist Car for a private shore excursion from Sihanoukville to Kampot and were very satisfied with their sevice. Our friendly driver picked us up from Sihanoukville cruise terminal and returned us back on time. He did a great job and. drove us safely along the partly unpaved bumpy main road to Kampot, where our tourguide Roi joined us. Roi is a very nice and knowledgeable guide. He speaks very good English and provided us with a lot of intersting information. First we visited the Salt Fields, then the very old Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple and continued to bo tree pepper plantation, where we took part in a very interesting guided tour and had a delicious lunch. We enjoyed our time in Kampot very much and had a fabulous day.

We had a fantastic day exploring the sights with our driver, Sophy, who was friendly, spoke excellent English, and let us set our own pace at each stop. Having the freedom to linger or move on as we pleased made the experience even better. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the Pepper Plantation—a fascinating place where we learned about the renowned Kampot pepper. Be prepared to pay a premium compared to prices back home, but the quality makes it worth considering. Another unexpected treat was witnessing the salt being harvested toward the end of the day. Even Sophy was thrilled, as it was his first time seeing it too! Kampot itself is a charming town with beautiful colonial-era buildings, making it well worth the visit. A Word of Caution One major downside: the advertised price does not include a return trip to Sihanoukville. We were caught off guard and had to shell out an extra $60 for the ride back. While it’s technically mentioned in the “not included” section, it’s highly unusual for a tour to drop you off and leave you stranded. Since the driver had to return anyway, it felt like an unnecessary extra charge. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, but this unexpected cost left a sour note—hence, not a full five-star rating.

This is an outstanding tour. Our driver and our tour guide were both excellent. They were friendly knowledgeable, extremely professional, and a lot of fun. They showed us things and allowed us to explore areas that we would’ve never been able to reach on our own. I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the best experiences we had during our three weeks exploring Cambodia.

Our driver Kari picked us up at our hotel in Sihanoukville and dropped us off at our hotel in Kampot. He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch and also took us to a few interesting places for sightseeing. Trip was perfect. This company and driver are highly recommended.

Our driver and guide Kari was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was always wearing a smile. We had to go through a stretch of bumpy road, which was of course out of the driver’s control. The drive from the cruise pier to Kampot was about 2 hours. The tour covered all the places listed in the itinerary. We enjoyed the tour on the pepper plantation in spite of the very hot weather. The cave where the Hindu temple was built was interesting.

Our guide/ driver picked us up from Sihanoukville hotel and drove to Kampot. There was a 20km stretch of road that was under repair for 5 years and it was slow and bumpy. However our driver (Cory?) was very good and patient, explaining the history of Sihanoukville and Kampot and took time to answer our questions. The salt field was interesting, Phnom Chhngok cave was amazing. Secret lake and durian farm is worth a visit if you are a fan of durian. Le plantations of pepper farm was also interesting but it felt too commercialized and unnecessarily long. We had a stop for lunch in Kampot and drove back to Sihanoukville ($50 extra) on the same slow bumpy road. Overall a great experience!

Very nice tour! Our guide Micki was super nice and we could talk with him about so many things. We really appreciated him. The various activities are nice and interesting, and we loved to see the different landscapes between each of them. I recommend the activity 100%!

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Micki, being a local from Kampot, added an extra layer of insight to our journey. He also doubled as a photographer, capturing memorable moments for us. Maneuvering the bumpy and dusty roads on a Tuk Tuk like a pro was impressive. The unexpected bonus was the impromptu food tour at Kep's local market – Micki showcased the delicious local delicacies. Also, the pepper plantation tour (provided by the plantation's team) was both enjoyable and informative. All in all, great value for our money. If we were to point out a couple of things, we did have to reach out for pickup details the night before, and it would have been nice to know in advance about the dusty roads, so we could dress appropriately. Maybe it was in the description and we missed it.

It was very nice day, with a very friendly driver. The Pepperfarm was our favorite. But to drive with the Tuc Tuc and to see the land and people was great also.

The whole tour was amazing, it gave us a very nice impression of the cambodian country-side. The driver spoke good English, was very kind and we felt very comfortable during the whole day. Also the local guide at the pepper farm and in the cave did a good job too. I can only recommend doing this tour.
