What To Expect
Galway
Tour vehicle departs Merchants Road, Galway, outside the Kinlay Hostel at 09:30. Please present 15 minutes prior to departure.
Turning left into the Claddagh, St. Marys Church on your right, has been a Dominican Church for nearly 500 years. A romantic legacy of the former Claddagh fishing village is the Claddagh Ring, the traditional wedding ring of the villagers and ideal Galway gift or reminder of your visit to Galway.

5.00We had a really enjoyable experience on this tour. Our driver/guide is really knowledgeable and engaging. I'm also glad that we had 3 hours in Kylemore Abbey instead of 2 hours. It definitely wasn't enough to see everything, but it allowed us to take our time enjoying the ground and the house itself.
I recommend the experience!

4.00We had a great experience. The drive was scenic and comfortable despite the narrow ways. I felt safet the whole time. Our guide was knowledgable, clear and able to multi-task in driving and explaining the different sceneries and history. We enjoyed the whole trip very much. The abbey was breath-taking.

1.00⚠️⚠️⚠️ DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! ‼️ The location (exact pin) shared to start the tour is wrong, and the address provides only street name with no number, the bus waits at the end of the street, around 100 m away from the provided meeting location. As such we waited well in advance at the spot but did not see any bus and missed the departure. At 9:37 we understood that something should be wrong and called the number. When we called the company the person on the phone was extremely extremely rude and arrogant. He did not want to return, he did not want to wait that we catch them up with our car and said the refund will not be done. Avoid this provider!!!!

5.00The experience was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Paul was an outstanding driver, humorous, personable, friendly and very professional.The trip to Connemara and Kylemore Abby was absolutely mind blowing!! I secured tickets in Boston before I left for Ireland and I’m so glad I did. It was THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY ENTIRE TRIP!!!!!!!!

5.00Our driver and tour guide, Mike, was exceptional. His commentary was riveting the entire time on our trip to the Abbey. He also made appropriate stops along the way that were breathtaking and timely. Highly recommended. Excellent experience. The 3 hours at the Abbey are an absolute must. More time might even be needed, but 3 hours is great for a tour. If you're interested in history and breathtaking landscape go for it. Highly recommended.
