Founded in 1996 African Horizons have been running day and multi day Botswana Safaris for almost 30 years. Rated as Exceptional by Lonely Planet our qualified and Licenced guides will collect you from your place of residence within the Livingstone area. After a 40-60 Minute drive you will cross into Botswana (you need a passport) and you will transfer from our airconditioned mini bus to a game drive vehicle, after a brief stop for a snack and to sign in you will be taken into Chobe National Park. This is an exceptional park with an abundance of animals in the dry season (May-Nov) but still well worth a visit in the Emarald season (Nov-April). You will be taken on a 4x4 safari as well as a boat cruise. Collection at your lodge will be between 6-7am by appointment and return 5-6pm.

What To Expect
Chobe National Park
Chobe National park in Botswana is one home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. You will be collected at approx 6.45-7am from your hotel in the Livingstone area and after a short drive cross into Botswana (you will require a passport). After a light snack your qualified guide will take you into the park by game drive 4x4 and safari boat. Chobe has an incredibly diverse and abundant wildlife population elephants' and lion are often spotted along with many other animals including Giraffe, Kudu, Leopard. Hippo, Crocodile and many others. Lunch will be at the Riverside cafe in Kasane which does excellent hope cooked meals. All our guides are professionally trained and we carry fully comprehensive public liability insurance. You will get back to your Livingstone hotel about 6pm. Chobe full, half and multi day safaris are available.
