My adult daughter and I took three day-tours with Fossa Travel. Each was excellent. This tour of the island of Nosy Be took us to a sacred pool where our guide (Elio) explained what we should and should not do. We had a spiritual experience and also a delightful swim. Next we went to a sacred tree, which is a 200 year old Banyan tree. We were draped in beautiful cloth and walked along paths inside the trees many trunks. Next we went to Lemurialand where lemurs are free but accustomed to people. Here we were able to feed them banana from our hands. There are also tortoises and other reptiles there. Lunch was the best we had in a restaurant during the three weeks we were in Madagascar. I had fresh fish in a butter vanilla sauce. It was an excellent day.

We had a fabulous day in Nosy be! Joe was a fantastic guide and made the day so enjoyable! He was so kind and wonderful with our two kids and we had such a great day meeting the lemurs and tortoises in Lemuria land, visiting the Sacred Tree and seeing the city markets. Madagascar is incredible and we are so grateful to Joe, Maxime and Fossa Travel for making our day in Nosy be so memorable! It is a day we will never forget!
