Steve was an excellent guide. We got to see a lot of koalas on the way to 12 Apostles. The views of 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge were stunning. We recommend everyone to book the front seatings for the view!

Amazing trip that I have been wanting to do for years. It was so worth it and I will do it again next year. The driver was amazing, I can tell that he prepared some new jokes for us. Trip details; January 6th 2027, just in case you want to know who the amazing driver is.

Our tour experience was highly enjoyable. Steve's exceptional efforts ensured we had a remarkable experience, particularly in facilitating sightings of koalas and kangaroos in their natural habitat.

Steve (our tour guide) was excellent, adapting to our desires and a few recent natural disasters (landslides the prior week) that he was able to handle nicely along our modified route. Bring headphones (for long drives), snacks, layers, sunscreen and water. Comfortable bus.

Elliot was the 'beez kneez' when plans went south due to nature's calling. He was proactive and had plan B ready and waiting. Our new detour was scenic and full of historical features which brought the whole tour to life. 10/10 would recommend Elliot as your tour guide! He's knowledgable, easy-going and professional. Thanks for a great end to our Melbourne trip🥰 From your fave Kiwi co-pilots 🤙🏽

We did an organized bus tour to the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles. The booking process with the company was smooth and easy, but the real highlight of the tour was our driver James. James was an absolute 5-star guide and thanks to him this tour felt premium and deluxe from start to finish. From the very first second until the last moment of a 12-hour ride, he was welcoming, friendly, funny, and incredibly entertaining. On top of that, his knowledge about Australia, its history, the places we visited and the tour itself was outstanding. He shared information with the perfect timing, which made the entire experience not only visually stunning but also genuinely educational. During our first coffee break, we also met his colleague Elliott, who seemed just as nice, friendly, and open-minded — a great first impression of the team. James also put a huge amount of effort into helping us spot wildlife. Thanks to him, we were able to see koalas, kangaroos, seals and many different bird species, which made the day even more special. What impressed us even more was that the region had been dealing with bushfires in the weeks before and floods more recently. Despite these challenges, James navigated everything seamlessly and still delivered the full experience. If you hadn’t been following the news, you wouldn’t have noticed that anything was out of the ordinary. During the lunch break, he gave great recommendations for the different food options available and was clearly very well prepared and informed at all times. James truly went above and beyond, and the tour exceeded our expectations by far — times 100!!!! Please pass on our deepest gratitude to him. He deserves a massive pay raise!!!

The tour had to be modified due to bushfire near the great ocean road areas. The tour bus otherwise was comfortable and guide/driver James tried his best to show us few places in addition to the 12 apostles and shared good insight about Victorian history. It would have been good to spend additional time at the 12 apostles (we were only given 40 min) since we could not see any other planned itinerary places anyway.

We wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed our wonderful day touring the Great Ocean Road. From the moment we were picked up early in the morning until we were dropped off again in the evening, it was a fabulously well-managed excursion, delivered in the capable hands of our outstanding driver and tour guide, Joe. His care for all passengers was exemplary, and he could not have been more helpful, considerate, or professional throughout the day. The scenery along the Great Ocean Road is quite breathtaking and almost impossible to describe. For anyone who has not yet experienced it, we would strongly recommend doing so. The wildlife encounters with koalas and kangaroos were also a real highlight and added greatly to the overall experience. The only small suggestion we would offer for consideration is the detour into the rainforest, which on this occasion was closed. That hour or so might perhaps have been better spent enjoying more of the truly staggering coastline. That said, this was a very minor point in what was otherwise an exceptional day. Once again, many thanks. Kind regards, Petra and Andrea

The Great Ocean Road is beautiful, but this tour was ruined by the driver’s constant rushing. Every stop felt like a race. We were given 10–15 minutes at places that were clearly meant to be 30 minutes, making it impossible to properly enjoy or even take photos including toilets & everything. Major stops like Razorback and Loch Ard Gorge were supposed to be around 55 minutes in total, but the driver rushed us through everything in about 40 minutes. That is not what was advertised. The final toilet stop was supposed to be 15 minutes, but we were given only about 5 minutes, which is completely unreasonable for a full bus of people. The worst part was the driver’s attitude toward timing. He was obsessed with the clock and would create an issue if someone was even 1 minute late. This completely killed the mood and made the trip stressful instead of enjoyable. We paid for the experience, not to be treated like you’re in a military drill. Great locations, terrible execution. Would not recommend unless you enjoy being rushed at every stop.
