What To Expect
Osaka
Meet your tour conductor either in Shinsaibashi or Umeda DT Tower, and board our comfortable, luxurious private vehicle and travel 1 hr from Osaka to Nara Park.
Todai-ji Temple
Todaiji Temple was built to pray for the peace of the country. The Great Buddha Hall, where the Great Buddha sits, is one of the largest wooden structure in the world, with a width of about 57m, a depth of about 50m, and a height of about 48m. Originally completed in 751, the structure was destroyed in 1181 and 1567. The current building we see today was rebuilt in 1709, and was registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.

5.00Toru and Taka were great facilitators of our tour! Taka was very froendly, talkative, and knowledgeable. Everything was scheduled well and made great use of our time. It was well worth the money for our family to see these areas we may not have otherwise gotten to see on our first trip to Japan.

5.00We had an exceptional experience yesterday with Andi our Guide and Tate the Driver. Smooth pick up/Drop off service in Osaka (most tours don’t drop you back to Osaka!!) and very safe Driving by Tate. Andi had great local knowledge about all the Temples and Shrines with extra tips on great photos etc. The Scenery and Autumn Foliage was magnificent along with the Deer feeding and Sake tasting. We could not fault this trip and a must to do. Thank you Andi and Tate

5.00An amazing and luxurious experience, guided by the knowledgeable Andy. We spent a perfect amount of time at each location and were provided with fantastic explanations of all the temples and landmarks. The ride between each location was consistently smooth and added to stress free experience. Additionally the communication regarding pick up and drop off between us and Andy was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in experiencing Nara and its more niche locations. PS. The sake tasting at the end was delicious and so worth it :)

5.00This tour is very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable, visiting beautiful Nara, and a unique shrine which has 3,000 lanterns. The deers outside the temple and shrine are just lovable but can be aggressive at the same time. They appear to understand some hand signs to indicate we have no more biscuits for them 😀. Our guide Taka pointed out and explained the various highlights, as well as helped us fend off the few aggressive male deers when we stopped giving them treats.

5.00My sister and I had a wonderful day trip from Osaka to Nara. Our guide Jin and driver were absolutely fabulous. Jin was extremely knowledgeable and kind and our driver was faultless. A great day that we would highly recommend.
