Excellent tour guide to Helles with Otak. We were the only ones on the tour and he enabled us to see some places important to us, thank you Otak. Good safe driver too. Otak was very well informed and shared information in a most engaging and pleasant way. He also kept to the time of the trip although I think he missed his own lunch by looking after us. Highly recommend him and Crowded House.

Great tours of both the Turkish & ANZAC. Although, the Turkish portion felt more like an express version. Anyhow, still worth to go.

A splendid trip over Sunday/Monday. We both had a wonderful time with memories made for life. The tour was thoroughly well organised - without fault. Ibrahim was an excellent guide over the ANZAC battlefields. He certainly knows his stuff and he delivered it with style and eloquence. He has a special way with us tourists! Our driver for most of the trip was also first rate, but I am ashamed that I cannot recall his name, forgive me. Very many thanks again, it was the highlight of our holiday. I shall certainly recommend you.

I cannot praise the team at Crowded House Tours highly enough. Their tour was just what I needed, with as much time at Helles as the Anzac area. Not many tours do that. The tour was well organised, with excellent communication in the booking process, a well thought out tour plan (with pick up in Istanbul and an overnight stay in Canakkale), including all the major points of interest. Being a private tour, the itinerary was also adjusted slightly to accommodate my personal connection to a combatant. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, with excellent English and a very empathetic style and our driver was calm and assured. Payment options were flexible too. I could go on - but I think you'll get how I feel. I am not a regular booker of tours online and have to admit that I was a little nervous selecting one more or less at random. But I need not have worried. Crowded House Tours were top rate and I would thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic day - I asked for a tour concentrating on military history and walking the battlegrounds of Helles and Anzac sectors, whilst also visiting the most important cemeteries and memorials, and everything about the day more than met my expectations. Charlie was an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guide with fluent English. Could I have done it for myself? Maybe, with a car, maps, literature and at least 2 days… but even then I’d have missed out on the fascinating and revealing discussions of Turkish life, culture, food, language, etc, etc that added a great deal to the experience My wife, who had no particular prior interest in the subject, also found the day interesting and rewarding, and is inspired to do more battlefields! Obviously this is picking the most expensive option - but it was worth every penny, and I also felt that all the off the shelf tours on offer hereabouts are understandably pitched at the general tourist rather than the military history geek who really wants to understand the terrain etc Highly recommended
