Thank you Ercan for blessing me with your scholarly and skilled tour of Ancient Troy and Gallipoli Battlefields, all delivered in a warm and friendly manner. This is an incredible day for history lovers that will not be forgotten as you contemplate the depth of history at the layers of the Troy site and Troy Museum. Next you will enjoy lovely lunch of Turkish cuisine in the company of friendly locals at a Canakkale restaurant before moving on to a tour of the Gallipoli Battlefields which is emotionally moving. The prevailing feeling is one of peace as you contemplate the numerous cemeteries of young soldiers on both sides of the conflict who now lie together peacefully in death in this sacred place. It is a very emotionally moving experience not likely to be forgotten. I highly recommend this tour.

We had the BEST experience with Aykut. We ended up having a private tour as the only guests for the day. Aykut was a fabulous story teller. We loved visiting the Troy museum the most. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our day. It’s worth every penny and I recommend this tour a million times over!!

The only negative feedback I have is lunch, as I would have preferred a more traditional Turkish meal. That aside the whole day was a great day out. The morning pick up was punctual, the 2 different vans were comfortable & the 2 guides (Burak for Troy & Gagn for Gallipoli) very personable & informative. I learned a lot about Troy from Burak & the passion from Gagn on Gallipoli was felt by all. Please keep up the good work.

A wonderful tour of both Troy and Gallipoli with a private driver. Quite apart from the tour, the organisers at the office were incredibly helpful and kind in helping me with a number of other things for my journey

All aspects of this tour were excellent. The organisation from Hassle Free went above and beyond what we expected. We even received a WhatsApp message the day before the tour. The real standout was the guide, Hasan. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was very passionate about the subject matter and presented it in an interesting manner. He also understood his audience and made sure he was presenting suitable information from his huge knowledge base. He gave a very balanced account of both the ANZAC and Turkish side of the Gallipoli conflict. We highly recommend Hasan as a guide.

Incredibly helpful people all around. Booked two trips as a Canakkale walk-in. First day was a simple treat. Beautiful ferry ride across the Hellespont for a lunch by the water. Then a mini bus which effortlessly moved between important battle sites. Our guide was impressive. He knew, and loved, history. He knew every event and every name of all the protagonists involved in the battles. Day two was an equally rewarding half day trip to Troy. Same guide. He was even more knowledgeable about the history of this ancient city. His grasp of historic detail and his excellent English allowed for more than a ‘canned’ tour. He was very happy to expand on Troy’s influence an all aspects of history through the ages. Excellent!
