A fully escorted tour showcasing all of the best highlights of Wellington city and some of its outer suburbs. Among visiting iconic landmarks, the tour will also include a cafe lunch beside the sea (cost not included), and the choice of taking either a guided tour of the Weta Workshop Studios, or for the nature lovers, a guided tour of our renowned wildlife sanctuary Zealandia.

4.00This was a relaxed tour. We enjoyed the highlight - NZ Museum. The guide here was awesome. We get to pick which parts of the museum to have more in-depth exploration. We just drove by the gardens though.

4.00We enjoyed a fulsome tour of Wellington with Brian although we frequently felt rushed. This may have been due to a later start since some of the tour group were at a different hotel than the one we stopped at and Brian was also delayed getting to the port for the initial pick up. It was well organized though, Brian was knowledgeable and the sights included in the itinerary were appreciated. We felt we received a good overview.

5.00We had a great day in Wellington. Our group of 6 people chose this activity for our cruise port day. 2 other people from our ship had also booked this tour so we were 8 in total. Our tour guide, Brian, was terrific, describing the views we saw and history of Wellington. He gave us time to see everything but also kept us moving to get to all of the highlights, answered all of our questions, took pictures for us (and other visitors at WETA studios), and was accommodating - some of us went to the museum, some to Lambton Quay for shopping and some went back to the ship. We had lunch at Chocolate Fish Cafe which was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour

5.00This tour was an absolute highlight of our cruise! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, intimate, and incredibly informative. We were a small group of just eight people, which made the experience feel personal and relaxed—so much better than the large bus tours. Our driver and guide, Brian, was outstanding! He gave us a detailed and engaging introduction to Wellington, sharing fascinating facts, local insights, and a deep knowledge of the city's history and culture. His passion for the city was evident, and he made sure we got the most out of every stop on the itinerary. The itinerary was well-planned, covering all the must-see sights while allowing enough time to truly appreciate each location. Brian was always happy to answer questions and share interesting stories. Overall, this tour was the perfect way to explore Wellington, especially for cruise passengers with limited time. The small-group setting allowed for a much more personal experience, and we left with a great appreciation for the city.
