Reversing Falls Rapids
A unique phenomenon created by the collision of the Bay of Fundy and the Saint John River. At low tide the river empties into the bay causing a series of rapids and whirlpools. As tides rise they slow the river current for a brief period called slack tide. The Bay's tides continue to rise, gradually reversing the flow of the river; rapids form again, peaking at high tide. A 8.5-metre (28-foot) tide cycle is roughly 12.5 hours.

This is a scam. I chatted and talked to Mila a week before our tour to make sure we would not be placed on a different tour and we would see everything listed. I asked the rude man who checked us in the same thing. I was assured we were on the right tour and would see everything. The sign he was holding was not the listed tour operator. We only saw 3 out of the 6 sites listed. What we saw was good but we were very disappointed we missed the other sites especially after being assured 3 times that we would follow the listed itinerary. We were also disappointed that our tour guide gave very little informations about the 3 stops we did take and almost no history of Saint John. She talked more about what to eat, what she found in the beach, and other tours she has done.

Beware!!! This operator is a scam. We booked and paid 160 per person for a 6 1/2 hour tour. They took our money for 11 adults and put us on a tour that cost 80 per person with a completely different operator. We were on a school bus painted black with no air conditioning. We stopped at 3 places, not even the itinerary that we booked. I tried messaging and calling the tour operator who we booked with throughout the day with no answer. Viator is investigating this incident. Hopefully viator will remove this scammer from their platform and refund my money because this is unacceptable. I just hope this doesn't happen to others.
