Oedo Botania
Oedo is an island with an area of 144,998m2 located in Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. Oedo Botania is a combination of botani (plant) and toopia (paradise), which means a paradise for plants, and the entire island is adorned with gardens and arboretums. Since the island was purchased by an individual in the 1970s, the entire island has been cultivated as a garden for over 40 years. Because it is geographically located in a relatively warm climate, beautiful temperate and temperate plants are growing. It is a natural farm with a total of 3,000 species, including 740 species of rare tropical plants. It was opened for a fee in 1995, and it became famous especially as it was filmed here for K-Drama “Winter Sonata”, and it is a place where you can see beautiful scenery and flowers in all four seasons.

5.00This was one of the best, if not the best tour, I have ever been on. I loved everything about it, but what really made it special was the tour guide. Teo was absolutely incredible and a great guide. He was so easy to talk and made the experience extra special. If you can take the tour with Teo I absolutely recommend it!!!

5.00This was an amazing experience I’m so happy I experienced it. Sherry did a great job being attentive and communicative with both Mandarin and English speakers. Super friendly and funny. Hands down would take this tour again. All of the locations were breathtaking. Geoje is such a beautiful island. Adequate time was given at each place. Some were a small challenge to get through as there were a few hills you had to go up and down but even walking at your own pace you’d still have enough time to enjoy each spot.

5.00We had an amazing day trip to Geoje. Everything was perfectly organized, and our tour guide Sherry made the experience even more special. She welcomed everyone with a warm smile and created such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere throughout the day. Sherry gave us many helpful tips, showed us the best photo spots, and kindly helped everyone take beautiful pictures. Even the small conversations during the tour and the lunch organization were thoughtful and well managed. I highly recommend visiting Geoje and choosing this tour — it was a wonderful experience from start to finish!

5.00We have been in Busan before but this is our first time in Geoje Oedo Botania Island. This Geoje Oedo Botania Island Tour by Lecirt is a must try when in Busan. Allan was our English tour guide and drive for the day and he was super awesome. There was only 1 more guest beside us in the van so it felt like a private tour so best value for the money. Our guide was well informed of the history of the places we visited, assisted in taking pictures, set proper expectations and provided clear instructions. He was very friendly and a highly recommended tour guide.

5.00The wonderful, all day excursion began (after pick up in Busan) at Maemi castle, but was highlighted by a boat trip to, and remarkable walk about Oedo Botania Island, and its beautiful gardens, sculptures, artwork and a museum detailing its founding. A day of interesting sites, walks boat ride and a stop mid-way for tasty seafood lunch. The tour was led by Shelly, with good cheer, care and local knowledge and guided our small, international group of folks from the four corners of the Globe, in English and Mandarin. Transportation was very comfortable, including pick up and drop off at one of two locations in Busan.

5.00My favorite thing about this tour was the ferry ride to Oedo Botanical gardens. It was a short trip there but o t he way back it was longer and we got to sit up top outside. The views were stunning and the breeze felt good. The gardens were gorgeous, hike the entire thing if you can. The top is spectacular! There were a lot of smaller stops as well, so yiu really got to see the island of Geoje. Our guide, Alan, was wonderful. He was so kind and helpful. He helped a lady with a cane and another who didn't speak Korean or English. Lunch was delicious and inexpensive!! This was a nice relaxing day tour away from the city.
